Bahia Principe Fantasia Dominican Republic | Birthday Celebration Day 4

I stayed at Bahia Principe Fantasia in Dominican Republic, to celebrate my birthday. The 1 big difference I noticed between Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife and Domincan republic, people seem to be up earlier in Dominican Republic. The sunrise is at 6am and happens soo quick. It poured rain and next thing it was daylight soo quick. Why does rain in other countries feel different ? I actually really liked Dominican rain, especially when it’s soo hot.

I made use of the rain and went for a wander in Grand Bahia Principe Hotel.

I wanted to experience as much as I could, so I went to the beach restaurant for lunch.

Then I went to the hotel castle pools. The staff notice you missing. If I went away for a few hours, the staff would ask where you went.

I then went to the Mexican for dinner. There’s loads of restaurants and the food truck to the left at the beach.

I finally got my birthday banner a day too late !!!! 1 thing in common with Bahia Principe Fantasia in Tenerife and Dominican, is they forget the birthday banner on your birthday. Tenerife forgot my mums and Dominican forgot my banner. Adrian in Tenerife got my mums up right away. I asked reception on my birthday night and I was told it would be up “ tomorrow “ a banner appeared next door and not my door. I asked again and was told “tomorrow “. I said but my birthday was yesterday and they did eventually get the banner up.

The hotel also forgot to refill the fridge a few days in a row. I went to reception and was told I had to wait till the next day ! You’re supposed to get free refill and says you pay extra if you want more. They seemed too laid back and in no rush to do, services they offer.
