We are so excited to share with you our new collaboration summer garden tour series where we meet with other local gardeners growing in the greater Sacramento area. We get to take a peek at what they are growing and how they grow it in a suburban environment.
For episode 3 of our neighborhood garden tour series, we meet with one of our friends, Mary, who has completely converted her grass-filled backyard to a thriving garden full of 14 (or so) raised beds, grow bags & pots, with 2 arched trellises for plenty of vertical growing. She grows a wide variety of vegetables (like tomatoes, peppers, beans), lots of herbs, some fruit trees, and she intermixes cut flowers into her space to attract pollinators (plus it’s pretty to look at). Her garden is beautiful and we are amazed with what she has done in such a short amount of time! We hope you enjoy this week’s tour!
