‘Backyard of Tehran’: Iran’s top proxy in Syria ‘has fallen'

Syria has been the “backyard of Tehran”, reveals the National Council of Resistance of Iran’s Alireza Jafarzadeh.

“The Iran regime had spent billions of dollars and resources allocating as many as 70,000 of its proxy forces in Syria to try to keep Assad in power,” he told Sky News host Gabriella Power.

“Yet, after all of that investment – Assad, the top proxy of the Iran regime, has fallen.”

  4. this guy is telling the truth about the fact that people of iran want to get rid of mullahs but this snake thinks he is too smart by twisting the facts. the revolution in iran is indeed lead by women but not by islamist mujahed "maryam rajavi", she did not do jackshit. We don't want anything to do with any islamist thug. We gonna have pahlavi kindgom and we gonna restore our zoroastrian religion once again.
