Hey, man. From what I can tell nobody has caught on to the detail of Dorry and Brogy not using haki. I think this explains their use of shields. They cannot use strong haki thus they use shields to make up for the defensive nerf of not having hardening. But why can't they weild strong haki? Could it be their religion's focus on predestiny? How can you conjure your will when you don't believe in free will?
I really love Kaku a lot and when Oda brought him back I was very hyped cause I thought he wouldn't bring him back without a purpose, but so far he just appeared, did nothing, and now it looks like he's going to die unceremoniously. He was cute and all, but ig I have to accept that his only purpose seems to be to serve Lucci's character. It just makes me sad already. I still hope he doesn't die here but it rly seems like it. I just would have loved to see him leave Cipher Pol at some point because in Water 7 it seemed like he might have preferred a civilian life but didn't feel like he could have that. But no I guess Lucci gets to leave instead, the one agent who imo deserves it the least 🙁 I know nothing's set in stone yet but that kinda ruined my mood and I had to vent it out somewhere.
