Back to Gransys – Let's Play Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (Hard Mode) 64

An extended tour of the new Bitterblack Isle!
The last batch of Moonbeam Gems are expended!
What’s in store for the Arisen back in Gran Soren?!
Tune in and find out!!

Looking to exert their expertise with high-action combat in the realm of open world action-RPGs, Capcom first released Dragon’s Dogma in May 22, 2012. In anticipation of the 2024 sequel, we venture into the oftentimes silly and sometimes profound world of Gransys within Dragon’s Dogma. Expect new videos nightly, as time permits.

Music featured in the opening is an instrumental segment of “Eternal Return” and the music featured in the closing is “Into Free”, performed by “B’z”, both as featured in the OSTs of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen and pre-Dark Arisen respectively.

  1. Dragonforging is based on the dragon you kill, and the current upgrade of what you’re trying to dragonforge. By putting rancid bait meat in duskmoon tower, you can spawn in a cursed dragon which has a 75% chance to dragonforge a grade 3 piece of equipment, 65% on grade 2, and 55% on grade 1. Everything else besides Grigori and the Ur-Dragon are 40% or less.

  2. If I am remembering correctly aside from the "Wildebeest" you mentioned which is on level 7 the Chamber of Lament there isn't any new monsters you haven't seen already you could fight the Wildebeest or you can finish the story get the three endings the first two choosing peace and dying in the fight lets you retry so you can get all three in one run and when you start new game plus you can find a riftstone on the beach in Cassardis where you found the moonglow flower that will send you straight to the Chamber of Lament.

Also fighting it with a class that has no range will be almost impossible, aside from fighting offline I recommend switching vocations. Good luck.

  3. There's an augment called Egression from Fighter vocation that allows you to get out of grapples more easily. But it's not that useful outside of Man-eaters, Eliminators, Gorecyclops and Elder Ogres. It's not really needed outside of Bitterblack Isle.

  4. I don't remember if you've looked at it yet, but in the pause menu there's a "Chronicle" which is a journal about the adventures you've had so far. It's interesting because I feel like many people miss its existence. Should be able to press X or Square to view it while in the pause menu.
