Back In Fifty Years!

George Francis “Gabby” Hayes was an American actor. He was best known for his many appearances in B-Western film series as the bewhiskered, cantankerous, but ever-loyal and brave comic sidekick of cowboy stars like Roy Rogers, John Wayne, Gene Autry and Wild Bill Elliott.
Hayes died in Burbank, California on February 9, 1969, at the age of 83.
