Hey guys removing mods is called unbolting attachments. It's done in the weapons menu screen and cost some gold but it never locks the gun again. You might like it.

If you kill the snitch it makes them come if you alert it then they come so the best way is to sneak by them or just kill them and deal with the zombies

Pain meds will negate the effects of the debuff you get when you open one of the crates. That's why you find alot of pills in the tunnels.
