[Azur Lane] Revelations of Dust EX Stage 4849 points.

If you want to know the general tactics of this fight and want to figure out how to defeat the boss without too much problems, feel free to check my previous video, which serves as a brief guide, that covers almost every important detail about the Horseman and his vulnerabilities. Just in case it would be hard for someone to find the video, I’ve left the link to it in the video (click on the 🛈 mark, while watching this episode).

This EX stage is by far the most interesting one out of all that we have seen to this day, at least in my opinion. Instead of simply dealing a lot of damage through ginormous amount of shells and other means, which your Vanguard line is uncapable of avoiding for the most part, it features a pretty easy to understand, yet challenging attack pattern, and that’s what makes the fight against The Horseman so pleasing and satisfying. Of course, its strikes cannot be classified as the undeniably best because of the Parallel Superimposition’s EX stage boss, that honestly was way more similar to the Dark Souls series boss, rather than to the classical Azur Lane approach to the boss mechanics, but still, The Horseman has a unique vulnerability that you must figure out to make the fight a lot easier, which the aforementioned boss from the previous EX is devoid of.

However, the Horseman can be absurdly glitchy sometimes and requires as much luck as the knowledge for the successful outcome. For example, if you deal enough damage to cancel his attack’s charging process at the same frame it starts, which may sound impossible but is not that hard to pull off, he will not be interrupted and instead would just release the attack instantly. Moreover, destroying all three of the mechanical structures too early may not open up his weak spot, what’ll make the whole attempt ruined. Thus, while the boss is really fun to fight with, your experience can easily be spoiled.

The reason for making this video is that after publishing my guide on how to beat the boss I found out that my result ranked 16th on my server, and I thought that it might be possible to get to the top-10. Although my fleet managed to get only to the 11th place, I’m still happy with the outcome, because I’ve ever gotten that high. So this video is nowhere near the best possible result, which is around 7.8k.

As always, I hope that this video will be helpful to you!
