Path of Exile 2 is a next generation free-to-play Action RPG from Grinding Gear Games, featuring co-op for up to six players. Set years after the original Path of Exile, you will return to the dark world of Wraeclast and seek to end the corruption that is spreading. Journey across the deadly continent of Wraeclast, meeting multiple immersive cultures while facing off against evil in many forms.
Do battle with Corrupted abominations and Divine creations alike wielding skills that can be used together in graceful combinations. Choose your own skills, and don equipment of your choosing. Path of Exile 2’s skill tree allows any class to specialise into any style of combat. Any class can use any Skill Gem, and those Skill Gems can be further modified by up to 5 Support Gems that can drastically alter how the skill works.
In addition, you can now Dual-Specialise your passive skill tree, allowing your character to switch between two wildly different fighting styles at will.

this game really seemed to do a good job taking from d2 and building on aspect of those classes like blizzard never could/would
the number of builds will be insane…
The game is way too over tuned prior to cruel.
There's been many times I'm getting 1 shot and I'm not even near the boss.
They need to add damage numbers that are done to you

You know the single thing I miss from Diablo 4? I love how their maps are designed around not using an overlay map. The spaces are wide and there aren’t too many twists and turns. It feels clean. Despite all the graphical upgrades they made in Poe 2, I spend all my time looking at the map
Some wrong information bud. Any class can use literally any weapon l/skill all you need to do is equip the corresponding weapon and you have access to the skills it has.

Everybody is saying „You can work yourself around the center and pick passives on the other side of the passives tree“. But does it make sense? Don’t you lose too many points working around the center? You could also only take attribute nodes, but I doubt this is a viable option. My guess is that PoE is has far less viable options than it seems…
I'm a sucker for druids, but I also love the spear, so I might mix the two, even if it doesn't work out well I'll have fun chucking javelins around with my wolf pack and calling lightning.

Irritated with nerfs… they are nerfing everything that's not even OP to begin with. Why? 1 exception the warrior 1 shot build that you had to prime for 3s. Everyone else had to do a set up… that 1 shot warrior is and was useless in t15+ maps…sooo why are they nerfing? It just ruins build diversity and forces ppl into a META… 😮 diablo 4 – 2.0 I see it now.
Teleport skills? You mean actual movement? No no no, movement is illegal in POE2.
Any super duper casual player out there wanna play together WITHOUT chasing the “non-existent” end game like crazy on the first week? xD

I hope the huntress abilities pair well with monks abilities because a spear and shield as my second weapon set would be cool
I feel like saying 'that will be coming soon' is a bit misleading, as they said they will only come after early access, and who knows when that happens 😀 But still excited for Templar.
the only thing I dislike about 3 of the classes is the "spin to win effect," just about every game has that feature.

Bro I really hope they add the ability to pick gender. I aboslutely love the game so far, but the two major things I feel like are missing and are a major oversight is not having a little bit of character customization so not everyone's merc has the exact same face for example. And the ability to pick female / male

Im curious as to how hybrid builds work? Im starting as projectile merc and gonna swap to grenade once i unlock cluster, but im focusing solely on increasing my damage of my crossbows but still don't do nearly enough damage to kill side bosses like that damn magma giant gold thing, and some others

1:38 – 4:40 You are KIND OF limited in this game.
Sorceress, Monk, Warrior, Mercenary, Ranger, and Templar are all general skill tress all classes can see (except witch cant see Sorceress skill tree, also top left is Templar back in exile con)
Druid replaces the Templar tree, but no other class can see the druid tree the same goes with the following replacements
Witch replacing Sorceress
Marauder replacing Warrior
Duelist replacing Mercenary
Huntress Replacing Ranger
Shadow Replacing Monk.
These 6 classes are unique and don't show their version of the skill tree for any other classes.
Which is why Witch has 38 minion damage bonuses (not including ascendency) and no other class can get those same minion damage nodes at all.
i did notice a little ways into the merc skill tree there were a bunch of duel wield passives… i think you're on to something 🙂
