A lot of people are missing the little detail that Josh Sawyer was actually retweeting it, which shows how quickly Obsidian has fallen. Chris Avellone and Josh Sawyer were two of the main driving forces of Obsidian's peak days. With Chris having been forced out for stupid reasons and Josh apparently letting himself fall to the corruption, I'd say Obsidian has likely lost most of its magic.
I used to work for a health insurance company called "Anthem" who changed their name to "Elevance Health." Before being let go from there I remember when they had a special meeting to teach the customer service reps how to interact with the LGWXYZ community and use pronouns and all that other crap. That wasn't their only red flag, just the 1 that sealed the deal.
That's why now I tell my gamer friends to keep an eye out for this stuff goin on in the gaming industry because this mind virus is actually going on everywhere, not just in games.
By the way, in case you're wondering why did they fire me, they said it was because of occurrences. The occurrence that put me over the limit was me needing to call out because I had COVID. Also of note, I was 1 of few that didn't bend the knee to their agenda and I refused to get the jab. So make of that what you will.
Other devs are smelling the crap and know that trashing woke publicly will ensure their own credibility. Any sort of philosophy requiring silence and compliance by law was doomed from the start as it crumbles the second adults are back in charge.

What the woke culture is doing isn't even inclusive and diverse, if it was diverse and inclusive it would include both pronouns that dynamically react to genders and both cisgenders and transgenders will be selectable and the pronouns will adapt to the initial gender selection. Also if it was true diversity and inclusivity then no demographic should be excluded, neither white men/women/trans nor black men/women/trans nor asian men/women/trans. Here's a good idea for another ship in the fleet: a Nanite Interdictor from Stellaris. That game has tons of great ship designs.
