  1. I most certainly appreciate your diligence in sharing this archived information. What I do not appreciate is the regurgitation over and over again of the same clips re-packaged only to garner views.

  2. @ 20:54. It's contra-rotating we see here, not counter-rotating.

An aeroplane with counter-rotating propellers, will will be, for instance, a P38 Lightning. One prop on one side of the aircraft will turn in a direction, yet the prop on the other side, will turn in the opposite direction….

  3. I grew up in Las Vegas, where the two Constitutions were parked until they were scrapped. During the summer we rode our bicycles under the fence of the airport and we would play 12 O'Clock High in them for HOURS at a time. They were absolutely HUGE. You could walk all the way out to damn near the tip of the wing on the inside! WAAAY out there was a hatch from the inside out, on the bottom of the wings. It seemed high enough to break your neck if you jumped out from there. The planes were loaded to the ceilings with aluminum fluid lines, much like tranny lines in your car. The flight deck was cavernous and the yokes were more like motorcycle handle bars than the traditional types. After doing this like a half dozen times over several summers, we got run off by the popo. The way we got nabbed leads me to believe a sharp eyed ATC in the tower saw the control surfaces moving from us evading imaginary fighters. It was a great time to be a kid.
