Its weird how racist Jake became towards humans considering he is one. I get the majority of the humans are bad in this movie because Cameron doesn't do nuance too well. But for a guy about family, he sure did make his wife abandon her tribe/family. But he really just up and abandoned Spider (his adopted son) when he was freaking kidnapped. I guess the human child wasn't as important to his new blue body and family.
Great cinematic experience.. Not as good as the first one, but it's definitely a good movie again.
I watched the first movie almost every week since i was 8 till i was 10. It was my Lord of the Rings for awhile, and i loved Way of the Water as long as it was lol. Im hoping for 5 movie plan i think the series has earned it.
The movie is so good I didn’t even realize the whole world said the story was bland. But I get so caught up in the movie and the characters I just……..damn the movie is good!!!!

Dude the three hours was necessary in my opinion to really get the emotional hooks in for some scenes. Very well done and paced. Visual stunning, and lots of action. Epic movie.

It's Star wars on Pandora. So that means in the 3rd movie we need to meet the Emperor of the Sky People. Like the President of the US, or some corporate guy bankrolling the whole operation. He's probably got the whale fluid pumping through his veins to stop aging – With recent rumors floating around, I could see the Emperor being played by Leonardo Dicaprio. Picture his character from Django Unchained, something like that

I love what you said about how James Cameron depicts humans in the film destroying nature and the ocean.
It’s quite similar to any of the films Hayao Miyazaki makes. The way humans always destroy nature for their own purposes in his films. He doesn’t do it in a “bash you over the head with guilt” kind of way.
I personally think that the second movie was great and I think they should show more or different species or subspecies of the people. Since there is the earth people and water, I think there should be more maybe air tribe, or a fire, or even a darker or evil tribe that is similar but different or maybe a tribe that lives in a colder environment who knows 🤷🏽♂️ but hey anything to be possible and I would love to see another or a evil tribe or a tribe that is more adapted for different environments or elements

Honestly I think you are missing the better parallel to Kiri there… Her parent seems to be Pandora itself, so less "the force" and more "Avatar: the Last Airbender". Her parent has a will and it may not be interested in saving earth as much as preventing humanity from harming Pandora by possibly integrating them into its biome… But humans don't have a hard line to integrate with native species so it is attempting wireless.
We probably see the mystic desert tribes ,who probably teach kikra how to use her ability ,so we have the 3 elements earth,water,air uploading data and combining it together too save Pandora,whale brain flulid could be like spice immortal drug
