I think its less that Avatar is inspired by Naruto per se (they're fairly close to another in release time) and more that Avatar and Naruto partially take inspiration from the same sources 🤔
Since you keep mentioning the anime parallels, I figured you'd get a kick out of knowing this. Avatar likely should feel more like FLCL (fooly Cooly) than anything else. The director of ATLA ordered the entire staff to watch the entirety of FLCL during development. So there is likely to be a ton of influence from there more than bleach or naruto.

Hey there is a web animation series called "My Student Spirit" there is like a 3 episode now its so good and i didnt see anyone reacting to it, so it would be nice to see it from you guys :') but since its originally a Russian series its not that popular outside of the Russia rn (there is an eng version btw) so i would understand if you guys didnt make a video about it but i would be glad if you do it (and maybe thanks to you guys this series gets more recognition :3)

I think you need to realize what was going on at this time as well as the big anime series here in the states as well. If I remember correctly, this was the time when the big three in kids entertainment (Disney, Nick, and Cartoon Network) began transitioning from cartoons to live action/reality and many of the cartoons associated with the "Golden Age of Cartoons" have already ended. Even so, both Teen Titans and Spongebob were in Season 3 at this time, The Fairly OddParents beginning Season 5, and American Dragon Jake Long was just beginning…

well the reason people figure he is the avatar is because they believed all the air benders died and there just so happens to be one show up so people that see him assume he is the avatar because they know that the next avatar is a air bender

I love your guys reactions, but I just have a little bit of constructive criticism with the editing. You keep cutting yourselves off both with the Patreon ad thrown in randomly in the middle of the reaction, as well as cutting off your reflections on the episode at the end by cutting the video short. The videos would be much cleaner and pleasing to watch if you didn't do those! Of course, I mean no offense to you guys though, just a thought I had watching this series thus far with you guys!

Well, yes. If they aren't at the poles with the Water Tribes, then they are either in the Earth Kingdom or the Fire Nation.
Even when the Air Nomads existed, they were nomadic, not really claiming any territory outside the 4 temples.

east asian spirits are a huge influence in all of these shows, especially since bending is about martial arts which is usually tied to buddhism
