  1. Just for future reference as you guys watch Legend of Korra, the entire show was only ever greenlit for a single season at a time so it's plots tend to only be a single season rather than how Last Airbender's is with their being one major plot over three seasons.

Also be prepared for the "Is this allowed on Nickelodeon?" scenes that come with the show

  2. I personally disagree with you guys on the idea that Azula is purely a monster or that her emotional breakdown was the result of karma. The series showed that Azula was favored by Ozai because of how skilled she was ever since she was a child. His influence was over her pretty much since she was born. Zuko had his mother on his side who showed him love and compassion. Azula's mother ends up banished and Zuko ends up scarred. So what does this show Azula? That trust and love is weak. That her father's methods of using fear is the only way forward. But then Ozai pushes her to the side after everything she's done. He gives her a position and then immediately gives himself a better one. Her friends abandon her. Azula is being shown that everything her father taught her is wrong. To the point where she has to imagine her mother telling her that she loves her. She's 14 years old. And she has the pressure of the world on her shoulders. But unlike Zuko, she doesn't have a positive support system. Children are very much impressionable by their environment. And Azula's environment was a man who used cruelty and fear to keep his family in check in a nation that enforces their will on others. Her breakdown was the result of her worldview being shattered and also wanting her mother's love

  3. I dont understand how some long-time fans can hate the Ember island players episode hahaha its so good and a creative way to close off the series before the epic finale! and it never gets old, Im glad you guys got a kick out of it 😂😂 ALSO: Azula's moment of psychosis at her mirror reminds me so much of the Green Goblin. And if u wanna find out about Zuko's mom, you gotta read the books

  4. Funny thing about how you keep saying "It's perfect" at the end. The writers agree with you. The first and last words spoken (outside of the intro) are "It's" and "Perfect". Opening line: Sokka: "It's not getting away from me this time." Last line: Toph: "Well I think it's perfect!". Literally bookended with the line "It's Perfect".

  5. i think aangs refusal to kill the fire firelord is much less about believing the fire lord personally deserves a second chance, and more about the fact that sozin killed the air nomads in part BECAUSE he believed their pacifism made them weak. ozai says himself that aang and his people, because of their refusal to engage with the might-makes-rgiht rules of imperialism, did not deserve to share this world with ozai and the fire nation, its "natural" rulers. . it is about aangs commitment to non-violence, but its also about his PEOPLES commitment to non-violence, and how aang has to carry on that memory for hem if he wants to not only defeat ozai, but prove that his worldview is wrong.

  6. Azulas a 14 year old girl with a mental instability that was made worse by her father. Ozai won't tolerate softness or kindness in any way and that's what he taught is daughter dude was her only parent after her mom was exiled

  7. there are comics that continue the story after the show and zuko does find his mom but she has moved on and has another family but she still has trauma from ozai.

Just noticed the clouds and appa’s shape in the sky. Probably foreshadowing. What if katara bended all the clouds in the town to get an advantage with the rain. Probably already discovered but just let me have it. 💀🤣
