  1. I begin to wonder that Iroh could have visited this beach after his supposed failure for not taking Ba Sing Se and the terrible loss of his son Lu Ten. As Lo and Li themselves said "The beach has a special way of smoothing even the most ragged edges and revealing one's true self." Just a thought.

  2. What I love is the fact that zuko has had always 2 sides of him. Good/evil, his burned side of his face/non burned side, the red/blue dragon, he’s related to the fire lord and the avatar. Hes always had 2 different parts of him. Which is why he is the perfect descendant to restore the honor of the fire nation and his family.

  3. Honestly even when I was first watching this show back when it was originally airing on TV I thought it was BS that Roku didn't just jump into the Avatar state. People these days preach about Avatar being literally perfect in every conceivable way but like most other works of fiction it has its share of plot conveniences. The writers clearly just wanted to audience to forget Avatars could do that for this scene to make sense lol. There is no way a volcanoes eruption is any match for the Avatar based on the feats witnessed in this show.

  4. In season 1, when Aang went in the fire nation territory to meet Roku for the first time, notice how Roku attacked everyone in the Fire nation beside Zuko and the guy that helped Aang get inside. Ruko helped Aang and friends escape, but he also helped Zuko escape. 3 seasons later, we understand it's because of what we learn in this episode. It's brilliant !

  5. Hi Melon both of these episode's are fantastic in defeat ways
The episode center around Zuko Azula Ty Lee and Mai
You get great character development between the inter group
But you also see that Zuko and Azula dad emotionally damaged both his children in different ways Zuko scarred and sent away Azula here dad used here for power and nothing else she just wanted to be loved and he used it against her
Zuko and Azula mother didn't help Azula there dad had such a horrible hold on her she probably didn't know how to help her
And like Azula said in the end of the Beach episode she thought her mother saw her as a monster and even if Azula never talked to her mother about it you could tell by her experience on her face that it hurt more than she explained
    To here brother and friends
As for Sozin and Roku back story it's so sad
Because they want form best friends to enemies
Avatar the last Airbender is amazing with world balding and character

  6. i like to think that the whole time between that confrontation and the volcano, sozin always had a plan to conquer the world but had his hands tied because the avatar was still alive to still stop you. sozin kinda wanna help roku but then realised that he could just let him die in the volcano and his reincarnation would take another 20 years to master the elements & stop him. aang just happened to escape before the comet attack, which I think is just a really great story. The whole story of this show is also increedible from how the war started to how the characters evolved to how the story ended.
