  1. Biological differences dont always make up for skill. The kyoshi warriors are more skilled as they actually train to fight. Sokka just throws his boomerang and plays war with his younger village friends. He had no one to teach him how to fight. Therefore hes incapable of fighting off well trained and proabably physically stronger women. Sokkas a noodle. He is known better for his tactics and creativity later on, not so much his fighting prowess

  2. I enjoyed the thematic breakdown you did for a lot of the episodes, and you pointing out little details like the foreshadowing in certain episodes, as well as the presence of detrimental aspects like bathos early on. I basically remember every episode of this show from watching it on TV as a kid, and I rewatched it some years ago, but its nice to get a sober analytical refresher. I don't think I've seen any analysis of the show that actually covered the aforementioned aspects of writing (particularly the negatives) as well as production aspects like animation and composition. Anyways, good video, I appreciate your effort in making such a long review. Cheers Yume.
