Here’s some important info for anyone interested in the Peschitta(Aramaic NT). This is NOT a good quality original. It is a poor, back transition from Greek. It’s Aramaic is not even the same Aramaic of Judah second temple times.
Since I did not get a response to this in the other comment section, I will post it here, In regards to your point about how the python princess called Paul and those who were with him “Servants of the most High God, that show the way of salvation” -Acts 16:16that in your words, a demon possessed woman “promoted/endorsed” Paul and his gospel of salvation, that it is clearly wrong and Paul should be rejected, but , I have some questions
Take theses verses for example, “And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, 24saying, ‘Away! what—to us and to thee, Jesus the Nazarene? thou didst come to destroy us; I have known thee who thou art—the Holy One of God.” – Mark 1:23-24 (YLT)
Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak,s because they knew he was the Messiah. Luke 4:41 (YLT)
28and having seen Jesus, and having cried out, he fell before him, and with a loud voice, said, ‘What—to me and to thee, Jesus, Son of God Most High? I beseech thee, mayest thou not afflict me!’- Luke 8:28(YLT)
11and the unclean spirits, when they were seeing him, were falling down before him, and were crying, saying—‘Thou art the Son of God; Mark 3:11-(YLT)
7and having called with a loud voice, he said, ‘What—to me and to thee, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I adjure thee by God, mayest thou not afflict me!’-Mark 5:7 (YLT)
Does this mean that because demon possessed individuals spoke of Jesus and his authority, ect , that he should be rejected because of that? By your logic and if your consistent then we should, But I know you wouldn’t agree to that.
Also in Acts 19: 13-15 it states” YLT translation) vs 13 “Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”. Since the evil spirt mentions both Jesus and Paul should they both be rejected ? Why would he mention Jesus (the Truth) with Paul ( a liar/false apostle) in that context , if Paul is a false apostle ? In anticipating a objection along the lines of “ Paul Jesus wasn’t the real Jesus “, the evil spirits knew who the real Jesus was as seen in a earlier given verse. They never said Paul’s Jesus I know , they said JESUS and we know which Jesus it is that they know( Mark 1:24…. I know who you are- the Holy One Of God. Also see prior verses for, Son of God and Messiah)
God knows I mean no blasphemy by this and I am not equating Jesus and Paul but, in all 3 cases , the individual was possessed . I offer a explanation, it could just be that what the possessed woman said was true. Similar to how what the possessed man said about Jesus was true, being that he was the “Holy One Of God”, so the woman could have been speaking the truth referring to the group and them being servants of the Most High God who teach the way of salvation . One must ask why a impure spirit “cried out” in the first place. It was never spoken to first, it just cried out on its own, similar to in acts they were just walking and the evil spirit in the woman spoke on its own not being spoken to prior. They answer of “why“ could be that it was what was was true. The power/presence of God, made them speak the truth uncontrollably, in multiple cases (Mark 1:24-25, Mark 3:11, Mark 5:7 , Luke 4:41, Luke 8:28 and Acts 16:16-17). I do ask that you take the time to objectively consider and reply to all my points.
The woman who sits on the Seven Hills is the Beast system who will be headquartered in Jerusalem. Jerusalem also has seven hills however there are several commentaries that state that the Seven Hills actually represent Seven Kingdoms
Wait a minute. If Papias is a student of John the apostle, and John the apostle rejects Paul, and Paul's gospel supports the setting up of bishops and hierarchy, but John's gospel rejects it, and Papias is a bishop in Rome, then how the heck is Papias a student of John given that Papias through his discipleship under John would know not to become a bishop of Rome or be connected to the Catholic Church which was based on Paul?
