  1. I get so annoyed with news media pussy footing around these incidents. Whilst I empathize with this poor man's family, he did not fall, he jumped. I've done numerous cruises, and you simply cannot fall from a cruise ship. If you go over the side, it's a deliberate action.

  3. What do people do on cruise ships more than anything? Get drunk. Obviously the guy had drunk way too much and got a bit silly unfortunately it cost him his life.

  5. I have been on these cruises. The only way you can fall overboard is to make it happen, unless you are in a massive storm. There is obviously more to this than eats the eye.

  6. It must be agony for his family and friends. I'm sure they are asking how and why did he fall into the ocean. One doesn't just fall off a ship. There are more questions than answers

  7. On the cruise ships I have been on it would have to have been a voluntary act ….infact a crew member suicided on a trip and by law they must spend x amount of time looking for the person before they give up looking ….

  8. 3 people fell overboard when my Dad went on his cruise. I thought that they fixed the height of the rails so you can't just" fall" overboard. They should be at least chest height on an average person.
