The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says the AUKUS publicity is “an alibi” for the Albanese government doing nothing with defence.
“The last six or seven years of the Coalition government also did nothing on defence,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“We’ve been doing nothing for a long long time and it’s a sad state of affairs.”
