How the wife and the judge can be punished under Indian law in the tragic case of Atul Subhash:
For the Wife:
Section 306 IPC (Abetment of Suicide): Up to 10 years imprisonment for driving someone to take their own life through harassment.
Section 384 IPC (Extortion): Up to 3 years imprisonment for demanding ₹3 crore and ₹30 lakh as alleged by Subhash.
Section 120B IPC (Criminal Conspiracy): Punishment equal to the offense for conspiring with others to harass or extort.
Section 506 IPC (Criminal Intimidation): Up to 7 years imprisonment for threatening or coercing her husband.
Section 191 IPC (False Evidence): Up to 7 years imprisonment for using false accusations or fabricated evidence in legal disputes.
For the Judge:
Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act: 3–10 years imprisonment for demanding a ₹5 lakh bribe.
Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act: 4–10 years imprisonment for using official power to cause harm or gain financially.
Section 166 IPC (Public Servant Disobeying the Law): Up to 1-year imprisonment for abusing judicial power.
Section 409 IPC (Criminal Breach of Trust by a Public Servant): Life imprisonment or up to 10 years for misusing authority to exploit someone.

The root cause of crimes in society is the lack of accountability and values in systems meant to uphold the Constitution—this is the primary reason. What can Elon Musk or Trump do? Isn’t it a disgrace to India, even in death, to tarnish its reputation? What can a strong India, the world’s guru, do about the massacres happening in Bangladesh?

பெங்களூர்: மனைவியின் தொல்லை, விவாகரத்து வழக்கு காரணமாக ஏற்பட்ட பொருளாதார இழப்பு, மனக்கஷ்டங்களால் பெங்களூரை சேர்ந்த 34 வயது ஐடி பொறியாளர் அதுல் சுபாஷ் என்பவர் தற்கொலை செய்துள்ளார். அவரின் தற்கொலை நாட்டையே உலுக்கி உள்ளது. சட்டம் எந்த வகையிலும் ஆண்களுக்கு ஆதரவாக இல்லை என்று கூறி தற்கொலை செய்துள்ளார். அதுல் சுபாஷ் தற்கொலை செய்யும் முன் எக்ஸ் பக்கத்தில் எலான் மஸ்க், டிரம்ப் போன்றவர்களை டேக் செய்து இதை சர்வதேச அளவிற்கு கொண்டு செல்ல வேண்டும் என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.
கடந்த திங்களன்று தூக்கிட்டு தற்கொலை செய்து கொண்ட அதுல் சுபாஷ், 24 பக்க தற்கொலைக் குறிப்பை எழுதி உள்ளார். அதேபோல் கிட்டத்தட்ட 90 நிமிட வீடியோவைப் பதிவு செய்து சமூக வலைத்தளங்களில் வெளியிட்டார். அதில் அவர் தனது மனைவி மீது கடுமையான குற்றச்சாட்டுகளை பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். தனது மனைவி நிகிதா சிங்கானியா மீது கடுமையான புகார்களை வைத்துள்ளார்
அசேஞ்சர் ஐடி நிறுவனத்தில் வேலை பார்த்து கைநிறைய வருமானம் ஈட்டும் தனது மனைவி.. தன்னிடம் விவாகரத்திற்கு பின் 4 லட்சம் ரூபாய் பராமரிப்பு கேட்டார். எனது உறவினர்கள் மீதும் எனது குடும்பத்தினர் மீதும் பொய் வழக்குகளைப் பதிவு செய்தார்.
எங்களின் நான்கு வயது மகனுக்கும் பராமரிப்புத் தொகையாக மாதம் ₹ 2 லட்சம் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று கோர்ட் உத்தரவிட்டது.
பெங்களூரில் பணியாற்றிய பீகாரைச் சேர்ந்த அதுல் சுபாஷின் விவாகரத்து வழக்கில் உத்தரபிரதேசத்தின் ஜான்பூரில் நடந்து வந்தது. அந்த பெண் நீதிபதி தன்னிடம் 4-5 லட்சம் ரூபாய் லஞ்சம் கேட்டுள்ளார். அதாவது பராமரிப்பு தொகையை 40 ஆயிரமாக குறைக்க 4-5 லட்சம் லஞ்சம் கேட்டுள்ளார். அதை கொடுக்கவில்லை என்றதும் 2 லட்சம் ரூபாய் பராமரிப்பு கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று கோர்ட் உத்தரவிட்டதாக தற்கொலை கடிதத்தில், வீடியோவில் சுபாஷ் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
இந்தியாவையே உலுக்கிய இந்த வழக்கின் விவரங்கள்:
அதுல் சுபாஷுக்கு கடந்த 2019 இல் திருமணம் நடந்தது. மனைவி, மாமியார், ஆண்களுக்கு எதிரான பாரபட்சமான சட்டங்கள் மற்றும் சிஸ்டம் காரணமாக திருமணம் ஆகி 5 ஆண்டுகளுக்குள் தற்கொலை செய்ய உள்ளதாக கூறியுள்ளார்.
மனைவி 3 கோடி ஜீவனாம்சம் கேட்டார். அதோடு 4 லட்சம் ரூபாய் மாதம் பராமரிப்பு தொகை கேட்டார். மனைவி தன் குழந்தையின் முகத்தைக் கூட பார்க்க விடவில்லை. ஜான்பூர் குடும்பநல நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதி ரீட்டா கௌசிக், வழக்கைத் தீர்ப்பதற்கு 4- 5 லட்சம் லஞ்சம் கோரினார்.
மனைவியின் குடும்பத்திற்கு உதவுவதற்காக தனது மனைவிக்கு பல லட்சங்களைக் கொடுத்துள்ளார், ஆனால் கடைசியில் வரதட்சணைக் குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கு ஆளாகி உள்ளார். சுபாஷின் மனைவியின் தந்தை திருமணமான உடனேயே நோயால் இறந்தார், ஆனால் தனது கணவர் "வரதட்சணை" கேட்டதால்தான் என் அப்பா அதிர்ச்சியில் இறந்ததாகக் கூறி அந்த பெண் அவரது குடும்பத்தினர் மீது கொலைப் பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் எஃப்ஐஆர் பதிவு செய்துள்ளார்.
இந்தியாவில் சட்டங்கள் ஆண்களுக்கு ஆதரவாக இல்லை முழுக்க முழுக்க பெண்களுக்கு ஆதரவாக உள்ளது. இதனால் உண்மையில் நீதி கிடைக்க வேண்டிய ஆண்களுக்கும் நீதி கிடைப்பது இல்லை என்று தற்கொலை வீடியோவில் கூறி உள்ளார்.
அவர் தனது மரணத்தை பல மாதங்களாகத் திட்டமிட்டு செய்துள்ளாராம். தற்கொலைக்கு முந்தைய நாட்களில் அவர் செய்ய வேண்டிய அனைத்தையும் செய்ய ஒரு விரிவான பட்டியலைத் தயாரித்து உள்ளதாகவும் கூறப்படுகிறது. செய்ய வேண்டிய ஒவ்வொரு பணியும் முடிந்தவுடன். பட்டியலில் அதை டிக் செய்துள்ளார். அந்த பட்டியல் அவரின் வீட்டில் இருந்துள்ளது.
எனது குடும்பத்தில் நான் செய்ய வேண்டிய கடமைகள், மீதம் உள்ள எனது பொறுப்புகளை முடிக்க சில மாதங்கள் ஆனது. அதனால் கடந்த சில மாதங்களாக இந்த தற்கொலையை திட்டமிட்டேன். ஆவணங்களை மாற்றுவது, பெயர் மாற்றுவது போன்ற பல அரசு அலுவலக வேலைகள் மெதுவாக இருப்பதால் தற்கொலை தாமதத்திற்கு வழிவகுத்தது., என்று அவர் தனது கடிதத்தில் கூறி உள்ளார்.
