Super Star destroyers are scary for anything larger than a fighter
Using all three mc80 independence's is a great way to beat the bellator or any of the other superships for that matter

Captain Enigma's log: The SSD has been destroyed. For me, A pyrrhic victory in every sense of the word. The fleet had projected losses of upwards of 70%. Most notably among our capital ships and fighter squadrons. My Squadrons alone has lost nearly half of it's original strength. I dread to think how others fared. Something is going to have to change. These kinds of battles are not something the Rebellion can afford to have anymore. Such a high tuition, for such a meager lesson. My report on how Qasar use can mitigate these losses will have to take my full attention. END LOG
I'm glad to see you stabilizing your holdings. I know you're against a lot but I believe in you! You got this.
Also, if you have spare funds, I highly recommend upgrading your space stations throughout the south. You have at least 3 maybe 4 worlds that can get heavy shipyards. Reason being is if you lose sullust or mon cal you've basically lost any way to make more ships to hold against the empire, not just quick strikes. Again I'm saying if you have spare funds. I'd try to upgrade 1 station every 2-3 paychecks as a safe starting point. Plus you have like 2 or 3 fighter dockyards and I'd recommend making more so you can have the potential to mass build fighters/corvettes in an emergency.
You need more money especially with your cash cows in the core gone. I'd build supply depos on all plants, even those losing money, because it'll reduce how much you're losing/upkeep and make you more money. I'd try to build one every 1-2 paychecks with spare funds.
Also! The battle of Commendor!! That's what I'm talking about! That base you had on the world cost 2.5k(free since you started with it), you sold the other thing for 2k, and cost the empire 3k! You ended the battle 2k up and destroyed 3k worth of enemy recorces. Every battle on those outflung worlds should be like that. A distraction and cost to the enemy!! Good job!
For the first couple seconds after they get out of hyperspace ships have no shields. STOP calling in ships right next to a Star Destroyer. Please. Those poor MC30’s never stood a chance.
I would call this a success as now your poised to threaten fondor's shipyards which will make the Ai turtle or bring units to defend though in the north if you threatned lianna and yaga minor earlier in the campiagin the Ai would have turtled those worlds and given you more time when the Ai feels key worlds aka shipyards or money generators it will defend them and leave you alone until it feels like it can stop your advance or force a battle

Well, at least that's one less Bellator to worry about. Anyway, I can't believe you were given a MC80b Remonda as reward, that's honestly amazing. Now that I think about it, you could try to create Solo Command (though I'm not sure how you're going to get 3 ISDs and a Interdictor, let alone keep them alive to create the fleet). I honestly want to see more of the New Republic in AotR, maybe it's because of my disappointment in the canon New Republic.
Just spam fighters and bombers at SSDs and youll take a lot less losses, that and plenty of U wings are super helpful for prolonged dogfights
The Empire almost never makes screening vessels and prefers to use carriers for anti-fighter purposes so taking out hangars is very important
For highly effective anti fighter ships, use Braha Tok Gunships, they will take down enemy fighter/bombers left and right. Spam the living hell out of Braha Tok Gunships knowing they are going to probably die but they will take a ton of fighter bombers out with them.
