Atomic Heart – Combat Showcase & Gameplay Highlights – PC

Welcome to Atomic Heart, I’ve been looking forward to this game for a little while now. In this video, I’ll be showing some pretty early gameplay footage of the first couple hours. So far I’ve enjoyed my time with the gameplay, there’s a nice indepth skill tree and perk system to dive into as well as a nice side crafting system. I’m looking forward to playing more and seeing where the game takes me. Let me know if you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 😀

  1. I'm a little over an hour in and I'm absolutely adoring the combat. Heard some negative things about the open world, but so far, the protagonist is not as bad as everyone says he is… just don't take anything he says seriously lol

  2. 1. The level of AI is something near if-else statements. They stare at you or walk in circles while you attack them. With this FOV, it's even more substantial pain.

    2. The physics of enemies and environments is obsolete. They look like Bioshock Infinite, which was released back in 2013. This is done on UE5 but feels more like UE4.

    3. Since this is a PC version, I am also amazed by the graphical level of this game, especially with how bad it is compared to modern titles. Remember, the developers compared this game to Hogwarts Legacy as a GOTY competitor. What a JOKE!

    4. Main character dialogue level: "You guys seriously don't have anything more to do in these laboratories than to create giant killer shrubs." This is barely one example of how bad the writing is. The main character acts like the coolest MFr on the earth while being absolutely non-captive to the player's eye.

    5. The mechanics.. well. If you have ever played Bioshock, then you have seen it all. Nothing new, unique, or exciting. Pull your enemies in the air and hit their ankles three times. What immersive gameplay. And it's while other enemies are running dumb around you.

Thanks to the author of this video for showcasing this game, as I was not planning to buy it, and now I have all the arguments to help people not to buy this scam.

  3. Low Fov plus messed up and over-exaggerated head bobbing is a hideous disease, a plague afflicting FPS game design in recent years. People's eyeballs aren't fucking nailed to their eye sockets, ffs. I'd like to be able to see what's going on around me, rather than swaying from side to side like a drunken hobo after every axe swing.

  4. i love the entire arsenal n options this game offers. do you want evade enemies? fight enemies? or distract enemies? do you want to go close combat, or keep the distance? do you want to use the consumbles or the equipment in your glove alongside your quick reaction time with dodges??
