  1. If the chip is still a problem, when you slip cast, try silicone, it should be able to fill the crack, and it is actually moldable for a good long period of time till it cures. It’s also extremely high temp.

  2. I know nothing about slip casting other than YouTube has gotten me addicted to the videos. Could you make a new mold?

    I’m not sure have it’s done but I would assume using like silicone in the broken mold, ‘repair’ the silicone mold, and then recasting in plaster? Would let you save it.

    Video idea Unless I missed it (let me know as I will go watch it) – can you explain how a slip cast mold is made and why repairing them is so difficult? Because my first thought was to use like air dry clay to make the repair but it immediately made me go no, if that was an option she would have done it. Now I’m curious. 👀

  3. as a seller ,i want my customers to open the box and be THRILLED with their purchase ,i would definitely give their money back in this case and tell them hopefully they can still use it.. whether they fix it or not they didnt order a BROKEN item .
