Most underrated phone of the year so far. Love this thing.

  1. Once again Asus won't make their phones compatible with U.S carriers. I'm still using my ROG phone 2 but its connections are terrible and its getting harder to justify. Time to move on to another brand.

  2. I want the Asus Zenfone 9, but my last 2 phones lasted me 4 years each so the Zenfone's two years of updates is a deal breaker for me. Such a shame. Add one more year and I am sold. I hope Asus is reading the comments and do something about it

  4. Last year I had to choose beetween the S21 and Zenfone 8. The S21 won because of Wireless charging and the Samsung Eco system. Very sad that there is still no QI charging. Would be cool to load the Phone while driving around or working on the Desktop.

  5. I remember buying zenfone 2 a few years back, it had really good customization like the type even samsung didn't have at that time, sadly it started having issues with charging port and I broke the display and couldn't get it repaired. Zenfones are great only if they could break into U.S market and be easy to repair I think it would have potential to rival samsung. I would choose this over a samsung phone any day if I could have it repaired and it's accessories are made available easily. Btw my samsung also had issues well within warranty period, so I'm cutting some slack on zenfone there.

  6. I dont know about the price. It is more expensive than iPhone 13 mini and I think it doesn't reach its quality. On the other hand, from Android phones, there isnt much alternative there.

  7. I like almost everything about this phone (except for the price). More importantly, I think you should have mentioned that it does not have a memory card slot. I like to save my photos to the SD card so I'd hate to have to do without. For $700, it should have been simple to add a micro SD card to the SIM tray.
