#Astros ANNIHILATE #Twins 9-1 to take 2-1 ALDS lead!

The Astros bounced back in a HUGE way Tuesday afternoon – in spite of shadows & jacket weather – to thump the Twins. Between Cristian Javier’s unflappable start, Jose Abreu’s home runs, and ANOTHER incredible divisional series from Yordan Alvarez, it was a thing of beauty! #Astros #HoustonAstros #AstrosBaseball #Twins #MinnesotaTwins #twinsbaseball #CristianJavier #YordanAlvarez #JoseAbreu

  1. I've been a loud Maldanado critic, but youre absolutley right. He was nails today and you could really see how he affects the game. Not sure Diaz could have navigated those dicey situations as well

  2. They showed plenty of clips of the Twins fans leaving. On the other hand; the game was over by half way in Game 2. The Astros were dead in the water and it wasn’t no reason to stay to watch them at that point regardless of being a die hard Astros fan. Staying entire game doesn’t determine who’s a better fan or worse fan

  3. Stopped with The catcher call a great game, this is the same game call all year, the difference is Javier was actually being Javier and his spin rate was at the Javier level. Same calling that Maldonado being doing with Valdez the difference Javier is mentally tougher than Valdez.

  4. Here we are again, without Garcia and McCullers. But Urquidy is more than capable. Abreu didn't hit until the last month, but it doesn't matter at this point. If he has a hot postseason, he will have been worth the sign. Saw a stat about Javier's reduced K rate this year. This was his first full year in a big league rotation, and his sophomore year. Sophomore slumps are common. He's gonna be elite for years. Just love hitters talking about the rise on Javier's fastball. They don't recognize it, so they whiff.
