The Astros bounced back in a HUGE way Tuesday afternoon – in spite of shadows & jacket weather – to thump the Twins. Between Cristian Javier’s unflappable start, Jose Abreu’s home runs, and ANOTHER incredible divisional series from Yordan Alvarez, it was a thing of beauty! #Astros #HoustonAstros #AstrosBaseball #Twins #MinnesotaTwins #twinsbaseball #CristianJavier #YordanAlvarez #JoseAbreu

I've been a loud Maldanado critic, but youre absolutley right. He was nails today and you could really see how he affects the game. Not sure Diaz could have navigated those dicey situations as well
They showed plenty of clips of the Twins fans leaving. On the other hand; the game was over by half way in Game 2. The Astros were dead in the water and it wasn’t no reason to stay to watch them at that point regardless of being a die hard Astros fan. Staying entire game doesn’t determine who’s a better fan or worse fan
Plan 09 from fuching outer space, baby !
With how Abreu played in Arizona and how he played today he has earned 35 million dollars worth of his contract
Don't forget how clutch Abreu was to clinch the division title, not just today.
Javier is a completely different animal in the playoffs. He's a rock. Combine that with the absolutely inhuman tear Yordan is on, and this game was never in doubt.
🐱
Cruz doesn’t marry his siblings so he always wins any debate against Omar for that alone. Texas loves Cruz and we are Champions.
A sweeper is a sweeping curveball. Basically a curveball breaks horizontally instead of vertically. It's much slower and doesn't break as tight as a slider.
About time Abreu errand some of the money the Astros are pay him. Will he continue to contribute.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stopped with The catcher call a great game, this is the same game call all year, the difference is Javier was actually being Javier and his spin rate was at the Javier level. Same calling that Maldonado being doing with Valdez the difference Javier is mentally tougher than Valdez.
It doesn’t make sense how you can’t review foul tips but you can review if a batter hits the catcher glove on a swing. It’s the same thing
Here we are again, without Garcia and McCullers. But Urquidy is more than capable. Abreu didn't hit until the last month, but it doesn't matter at this point. If he has a hot postseason, he will have been worth the sign. Saw a stat about Javier's reduced K rate this year. This was his first full year in a big league rotation, and his sophomore year. Sophomore slumps are common. He's gonna be elite for years. Just love hitters talking about the rise on Javier's fastball. They don't recognize it, so they whiff.
Javier doesn't speak English. They were counting for nothing. Jokes on them
I was glad to se Javier surpass my expectations. Though he did struggle to throw strikes. Still worked out.
