What produced the yellow gold colored material inside the deep craters and had splashed out onto the surface around the craters of Ceres? I have a color image Dawn made of Ceres that was once posted on Wikipedia. Now all the images have been converted into greyscale and the color image that showed the yellow gold looking material in the deep craters and surface are gone. If you convert the image to greyscale the bright yellow spots turn white. Why would anyone do that? Does Ceres have a solid yellow and white gold core? Is that why Ceres is so dense?
Not trying to be technical but the Europeans didn't know about corn until the 15th century so Ceres couldn't have been the Roman goddess of corn more like the goddess of grain and other known crops.
Very interesting and by that rationale Earth probably formed outside the Goldilocks or just at the outer edge of it with lots of Frozen water then it was hit by Thea which knocked it into a closer orbit accelerating it with all kinds of materials being blown away and slowly coalescing around Earth creating our moon which has some water but because of gravitational forces and Mass these were forced up while all the iron and the coalescent materials forming in the bottom bowels of the Earth creating our Dynamo which made our magnetosphere which saved all over water from leaving this planet
How the hell did it travel 1.7 BILLION miles at only 60MPH!??? The math does not workout on that! It would take over 3000 YEARS to travel that far at that top speed.
If the spacecraft has any fuel left at all a slight nudge when it drifts out far enough to get to asteroid Psychi that would be a good project to land on with a spectragraph to see what constituents it has. Better yet would be an electric ark spectrograph to examine the surface thoroughly. With a small tracked vehicle solar powered.

I remember the launch of Dawn at Cape Canaveral like it was yeaterday. It was my son's first launch ever witnessed. Definitely a memorable occasion.
