  4. The spheres seem to be just like the obelisks in 2001 Space Odyssey. They detect that they've been found and report back. They are progressively farther away to give the owners an idea of the tech level achieved on Earth.

  5. Depends on the state of the space station. Can it withstand 30+ years of radiation? Will food supply last until then? Will nasa still exist until then?
