  1. As much as I would love for the orks to win. I think it would be sweet if James could topple the spiders uncanny lucky dice rolling! Can't wait to see what happens in this classic matchup.

  2. Its funny that Spider said he doesnt understand Orks, when he actually played his army correctly. Just smash your head against a wall and do your thing. Which is gettin' stuck in and smackin' some 'umies!

  3. Good game both sides. Spider, I feel like you shouldn't look down on yourself for 'winning because of Get the Good Bits', for 3 reasons:
    1. Not all armies should require lots of thinking every turn. If we want people to pick up the game, armies that don't require thinking can attract more people to this hobby. Orks also fit the bill flavor wise for less thinking than most armies.
    2. You're playing against a different army that also has an auto 15 secondary.
    3. Competitive play starts at list building. When building a list, you should be building the list to complete 3 solid secondaries and take primary points. People who put together a list then think of secondaries and primary as an afterthought made a mistake at this step. The fact the list did so well means you made the right choices during the list building step of each of your games.

Honestly, gonna miss list building to secondaries in 10th. I liked making optimizations to lists in 9th edition to make lean competitive lists, out of normally weak data slates and subfactions. With the changes to secondaries, (and more importantly the apparent change to subfactions) I feel like they are taking out my favorite part of the hobby, but we'll have to see.

  4. This was a really fun league and final! It's always great seeing people have fun and playing competetively at the same time.

Though I have to say it's kinda sad, that the Plasmacutioner is so effective… I really hope 10th is gonna change that massively, because it's kinda boring seeing all Lemans with the same turret (besides the odd Tank Commander)

  5. This was a great game to watch. Between 2 deserving players. However it shows a big floor of 9th ed. The game was desided in the first dice roll. As soon as spider won first turn he had a 99.9% chance of winning. I hope that 10th is more balanced.

  6. Perhaps i slightly weird questions, but i was wondering if anyone knows where the head conversions for the raptors come from. I really like the beret and beard combination.

  7. honestly the commentary is the best part. especially spiders ork voices. could be a good idea to try to add some more sound affects for the movement phase like you have with the shooting.
