  1. I personally think that Shadows will barely cover its costs if it sells that many units at all. But let's be honest, Ubisoft deserves this kick in the balls so that they finally wake up and realize that nobody really wants to play their bad games.

  2. I gotta save my pennies, Too many games to buy in the end of Jan, and all of Feb. Im trying to get, FF7 part 2, Kingdom Come2 ,duh, Yakuza : Pirate(whatever its called) , Monster Hunter, maybe Virtua Fighter 5, Sniper Elite resistance, And an indy game ,Tails of Iron 2, Its like Game of Thrones with mice!! Cool game. I have Xbox gamepass on PC (it came with it for free) so maybe some will be on that and save me some money. But i have no life and play games like a freak, so F it.

  3. I'm waiting for Ubisoft to go bankrupt so I can add insult to injury by buying all of their good old games on GOG Galaxy without it giving them a penny ; Assweed: Shitstains is gonna be the last nail in the coffin, even after they chickened out & fled to March.

  4. Maybe releasing during Black History Month was a little too on-the-nose, even for them. They really are desperately trying to make this a hit with coordinating the release, the marketing campaign and dodging other releases. And all the while, never acknowledging how they put themselves in this position to being with. It didn't have to be this way. It didn't have to be this difficult. They could have followed up Valhalla with basically another guaranteed hit. But they just couldn't help themselves and insisted on listening to the wrong people.

  5. I am an original AC fan and purchased most of the editions up to Odyssey. Most.
As a fan I must say that ever since the end of Ezio/Desmond, the storyline has suffered. I admit that the addition of naval warfare in AC III/Black Flag was innovative: Everything else was just more of the same.
I should have known better when I noticed the opening credits change from " diverse cultures and religions" to "various gender identities and sexual orientations" or something along those lines. Their core focus at that point was NOT making a great game. It was more important to send a, sometimes not so subtle, message.
I will not buy AC Shadows, or anything else actually, from UBISOFT.
I can picture the day Steam sale on AC Shadows drops to $2.99 and I opt for some large pixel indie game for $4.99 instead.

  6. Do they want to salvage their game? Stop forcing DEI poison down our throats. Stop insulting Japanese culture by race swapping a samurai with a black slave who was only left alive in feudal Japan to provide comedic relief to the Japanese lords. He got to carry and polish the swords. Had he been forced into combat by even the lowest ranked samurai, he would have been cut down instantly.
