Assassin’s Creed Shadows marketing is a disaster.

The marketing, or lack thereof, for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is nothing short of a complete and utter disaster. We are now approximately 60 something days away from release, and honestly, what do we know about the game? Apart from the protagonists, very brief stealth and combat features, and a few other details like the weather system. The answer is: not much.

Assassin’s Creed is an open-world, action-adventure, and stealth game franchise published by Ubisoft and developed mainly by its studio Ubisoft Montreal using the game engine Anvil and its more advanced derivatives. Created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond, and Corey May, the Assassin’s Creed video game series depicts a fictional millennia-old struggle between the Order of Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Knights Templar, who desire peace through order and control. The series features historical fiction, science fiction, and fictional characters intertwined with real-world historical events and historical figures. In most games, players control a historical Assassin while also playing as an Assassin Initiate or someone caught in the Assassin–Templar conflict in the present-day framing story. Considered a spiritual successor to the Prince of Persia series, Assassin’s Creed took inspiration from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol, based on the historical Hashashin sect of the medieval Middle East.

  1. With all the bullshit that surrounds this game, it might be better for them for people to forget about this game and restart the marketing campaign in January. Ubisoft probably thinks people might forget all the drama that surrounds the game by then.

  2. Ubisoft needs to put their sh!t together because Hate mongers are ready to take this game and they already did enough damage, even tha casual people got their negativity and they had a pretty good track record of destorying the sales of any games by their misinformation and review bombing.

They are currently busy taking GTA VI because they don't have any content for now.

  3. I think he lack of marketing indicates the February release date is either a placeholder and it'll get a push when they lock down something proper, or they have no faith in the game and they're not gonna waste money on something thing they think will fail. I hope it's the former personally.

  4. I thought I just wasn't keeping up with the game. I really ahvent been actively looking for anything so I guess I didn't notice the lack of marketing. Even so I hope this game does well. Not just for the company but this franchise that I love and have played since I was a kid
