It needs to be delayed again. This is not a game that should launch in the spring. This game needs to launch in the fall. It needs to be one of those titles that people turn to in the fall to say oh let me play that if you put this game out in the spring, it’s going to die. Not because there are necessarily other games that drop in the spring no it’s because most people look to play this game in the fall. Fans of the series will buy it in the spring, but those other more casual customers they won’t and you want to pick up as many of those customers as possible. Fans of the series are already going to buy the game. It’s that casual customer they need to look out for. They only get one shot at this and this has to be one of their best games in the series so you wanna make sure you do it right so you get as many eyes and hands on the game as possible

As someone that is also covering Assassin's Creed Shadows I actually disagree with you guys. Over the last couple of months as the team have revealed more about the stealth, combat, parkour and so own. The Assassin's Creed community has definitely become more positive on the game compared to the SGF showing… hence the community is becoming increasingly positive.

I think you guys have the problem flipped.
I suspect the assassin approachs are what they are trying to fix/get right because brawler style is more or less what the previous AC games have learned more towards. I'm thinking of Valhalla specifically which received the must investment of any AC game to date.
No water storage, no forest management, not enough fire fighters, firefighters budget was cut by mayor….

I really hate this AC shadows 2 characters nonsense. 10 year old AC Syndicate had 2 characters… girl stealth or boy strength. Some perks were locked to a specific gender. Some missions had a fixed character type but in open world roaming it allowed the player to choose their own playstyle.

I love the chaotic fun energy she brought to the marvel rivals games, and don't let it fool you she's an awesome player as well giving callouts for the team, keeping it fun dynamic and all around a hella entertaining time!!

Unfortunately when you think assassins creed you don’t think of a burly dude going through a wall. I just wish we got a ninja and a kunoichi. Rather than a samurai. Also the fact they flew a little too close to history by making an actual historical figure playable in a culture all about respect probably wasn’t the best choice.

AC 100% releases in March. They won't miss the FY. Gane has also looked great everytime they've shown it.
