The family was ambushed on March 21, 2023, in a brutal drive-by shooting.During the raid, police identified a vehicle believed to have been used in the Kalicharan killings and tracked it to a luxury property. A deadly shootout followed, leaving five suspected drug dealers dead, including alleged crime figures Bevin Loftus and Raheem Ryan Santos.Officers seized multiple firearms, including rifles and pistols, alongside drugs and cash, dealing a major blow to Durban’s underworld.
