GOOD MORNINGGGGG (it’s the morning when I’m writing this but you’re gonna get this video at 6pm like usual hehehee)
Today’s video is a throwback to the deepest trenches of my muscle memory – hand games we used to play in school!! My best friend Meg and I actually went to kindergarten thru high school together, so I called her and we had a hilarious time remembering all of the ones we used to do!! You do retain so many of them!!

SIDE NOTE – if anyone can remember the Miss Suzy finisher… please, it’s been bothering us that we can’t remember it! The one that published online isn’t what we used to say…
Also hilariously my cousins remember saying “concentration 54” but everyone else I talk to (Ben, my sis in law, etc…) remembers “concentration 64”, so I guess we just did it wrong LOLOL

Enjoy!! This was a really fun one to make! I was worried it wouldn’t be long enough (lols at the 44 minute final run time) so I also dug out some of my old toys that I kept – I was intensely attached to these!!!! So many little worlds, characters, established universes…. no wonder I love making OCs and thank god I finally started playing D&D ha!

Have a wonderful night!!!
PS some of these are a little …. dark and/or don’t age well – just a very mild, mild warning I suppose?? Idk!!! I talk about it in the video too so you don’t just get caught off guard lmfaooo

GOODNIGHT!!
~Gibi

  1. A peanut sat on a railroad track. His heart was all a flutter. Along came a big ol choo choo train, choo choo peanut butter…

Lol my grandpa used to sing this to me. He was born in 1912. I am old 😂

Also, the second one you did was always the Big Mac song.

  2. At minute 27:38
That pattern is very popular in Mexico!
We add an extra clap when you're about to do the double hand turn around

It would be clap, right hand, clap, left hand, clap, clap, both hands front, both hands back.

Then you would escalate the same way you did in the video 🙂

  3. I’m from the uk, we had the same ones but different lyrics. We still do them now sometimes and we’re leaving Highschool this year😂😂

Some of the ones I remember:

Coconut crack instead of rock paper scissors to make any major decisions.

A sailor went to sea, sea, sea to see what he could see see see but all that he could see see see was the bottom of the deep blue sea sea sea.

Tic tac toe, give me a high give me a low give me a three in a row, bunny got shot by a ufo, bunny got shot by a ufo.

We had a foot tapping game aswell but I can’t remember for the life of me how it goes😂

Sailing on the water like a cup and saucer too😂

  4. I really didn't like (most) children very much when I was a child so none of this brings back strong memories. 🤣 (And I did not enjoy school. It's no fun when basically everyone is just concerned with how popular they are and acting stupid and you don't care about any of that shit.) The one that came up was from my Grandma often doing one on my hand about buying a cow 😭 I can feel her hand on mine and I miss her so much.

  5. As someone who has most of their childhood memories repressed this was super fun to go through. The only ones I really remember was the bubblegum shoe one and the shortcake alphabet one, the rest were brand new ❤

  6. Am I the only person who didn’t learn the second part of miss Mary mac Bc the song would end after “and they never came back till the 4th of July”
Also the one you can’t remember that’s numbers but everyone did it differently it was up down to start then you’d start counting clap their hand 1 clap your hand then 2 their hand then clap your hand then clap clap with two hands two times with eachothers hands ofc🤭

  7. So, in elementary, we had gym class one day and we'd do all kinds of these games, mainly ones like pizza and pie. I loved and hoped gym would always be like that and it wasn't and that's how gym class made me sad for the next 12 years

  8. this was sooo amazing😴 I wish the ending was longer! the toys is what knocked me out. the sound from the plastic toys gave all the tingles. definitely think you doing a childhood toy video would be insanely relaxing💜

  9. It’s very funny to me that my school had the basic concept of the hand games you mentioned, but some lyrics were different. Like, Miss Mary Mack was identical, but down by the bank ended with “saying eeps ipps ohpps oops then he hit the water and it went kerplop” and you could try to pull your hand away, but most of the kids just resigned themselves to their fate or tried to pass it down one more hand so they wouldn’t be out. I guess Lemonade was also past your time, had the the same overhand underhand motion as some others while saying “lemonade clap clap clap iced tea clap clap clap Coca Cola clap clap clap Pepsi clap clap clap lemonade, iced tea, Coca Cola, Pepsi, turn around, touch the ground, kick your boyfriend out of town, and FREEZE” pause in a pose “American cheese!” There was also one like “A B C, hit it, that’s the way uh huh uh huh, I like it, uh huh uh huh. That’s the way uh huh uh huh, I like it, uh huh uh huh. You got the looks, I got the style, brick wall, waterfall, girl you think you got it all, you don’t, I do, so boom with the attitude, change change chu chu train, Reese’s pieces seven up, word” with elaborate motions, only the uh huh section had the classic clap-pat-clap-pat of patty cake. You also had making pizzas, but we had a different sensory thing on your back. I can’t remember the lyrics exactly, but it was supposed to be kinda creepy and give you chills. The only part I remember is “crack an egg on your head, let the yolk run down” (x2) where you would have your fist on top of their head, tap your other hand on top of it, and let your fingers slowly trail down their hair like egg yolk. There was more of that one, like specific lines and dots on their back and at the end jamming your fingers into their sides, but I don’t remember the wording exactly. Kids are super weird lol

  10. Can’t believe I forgot the Cinderella jump rope game “Cinderella, dressed in yella, went upstairs to kiss a fella, made a mistake and kissed a snake, how many doctors did it take, was it 1, 2, 3, 4…”

  11. The rhythm for concentration unlocked a DEEP memory in the trenches of my brain:

    Lemonade (clap clap clap)
    Iced tea (clap clap clap)
    Coca cola (clap clap clap)
    Pepsi (clap clap clap)
Lemonade, iced tea, coca cola, Pepsi

[And then here you started doing the movements as you narrated them:]
Turn around, touch the ground, shake your booty all around, kick your [bf/gf] out of town, FREEZE

And then the first to move would lose but it ended up just being the funniest shit on earth bc you'd be stuck holding eye contact or doing some stupid pose and trying not to laugh hfnsbfjgb
