  1. Dude stop blaming yourself when its clearly the problem with game design. Stop forcing yourself to defend this game. You are clearly trying to justify your choices, time spent and opinion about Froms games in general. Elden Ring is not a masterpiece. Its a mediocre game for special needs people.

  2. I mean taking a break is good thing to do. That is what I do whenever I am stuck on a boss. Few hours/day and I am ready again. It will settle a bit for him. Like I am impressed how streamers just die to one boss over and over and over and still going. Can not imagine the stress of tens of thousands people laughing for any mistake I do.

  3. Same here, and even worse: I didn't manage even to find the first boss that I'm supposed to fight. The ones that I've found were too strong, I couldn't deal any damage to them.

The same reason why I almost quit hollow kight. Just couldn't figure out where to go.

  4. i mean, fair enough.
the game is basically breath of the wild meets dark souls.
if massive open worlds aren't your thing, so be it. I personally love it. but it's a matter of personal taste.
I am like 7hours in, havent even left limgrave, and am loving it xP

but yeah if you prefer more linear/semi-linear progression, then this will definitely not be your thing. not only do souls games have the tendency to never do handholding, but now they don't hold your hand and drop you in a massive open world full of secret paths and with a million and one optional things to do.
If your personal preference is for games that offer more direction, makes sense that elden ring isn't your cup of tea.

  5. Wasn't this what people wanted though? Open world Soulsborne game? I'm confused what did people think they were getting into when they bought this game, it was fairly transparent about what it is.

  6. Bro i thought i was the only one, I get to a boss die 20x, farm mobs around the map to upgrade and then beat the boss after 5 or so tries . I absolutely love the game but the mechanics tied with the open world does get really exhausting

  7. Elden ring is my first attempt at a souls-like game and what I like to do when the game triggers me is to go on an adventure if I can. I love finding sidequests cuz you do the quest get loot and I discovered you can kill the npc to get even more loot. This is probably part of the most fun I have in the game (also carefull with who you kill, it does have some consequences in this game it seems x))

  8. I hope this is an act haha. Surely hes not actually a millionaire video game player who cries this easily. Anytime i see people like this im just like dude go work a really tough job for a month then return to normal life. I assure you the crying will be over and you will be like ok life is good.
