personally i dont watch these videos. i just look at the title and the thumbnail and i know its just another lost ark gamble video, probably the 42th one, sponsored by viewers who donate for attention or to act funny. at this point its hard to tell who is more pathetic, asmon or the ones who donate there gold/mats for this.
from the company side you spot an account thats get getting multiple thousands of gold mailed to them that is going to look SUS as fuck.
from the "innocent" players side "oh someone accidently sent me 10k gold tee hee their loss is my gain"
maybe if you are not expecting to get a shit ton of gold in your mail box return it or dont claim it. cos from the company side all they gunna see is RMT and ban you. If some rando mails you gold to get you banned and you take it, thats on you. As for the argument of what if some one buys RMT gold mails it to someone for free and then they send that gold onto someone else….again from the company side they see a end user who got vast amounts of gold and are most likely doing RTM (even if they didnt). moral of the story like IRL dont take stuff that aint yours/you didnt earn/ or vast chunks of wealth from strangers and you wont get done over

i feel like Asmon focuses on so many nonimportant things in the game, not saying honing is fully irrelevant but there’s other things, his stats seem completely mixed? i also wonder how his gem situation is looking or engravings etc.
As a BDO player for 3 years the honing isnt that bad, its a shit system but compared to BDO it was pretty fair.

Problem… you also can "Stage" all pets.
What does this mean?
Well, look lets say you want a Blue Pixi, a Healer Pet, Aqua (water) element Fairy, a flying Blue water Bubble… oh look at LostArks water fairy area, quest free the Blue water Bubbles ~> Those are the Blue Pixis, same region name as in Rappelz the Fairy woods 😉
So now back to point,…
You go there, and have randomly droped before from any mob killing a empty blue pixi card (pet card). 1st RNG. You could also go straight to blue pixis and farm only them bc they drop more often their own cards. Remember to stay in a certain lvl range to have more drops ~> higher card drop chances.
So you have the blue pixi card, empty, you gained with update, 3 new abilities, Tame – Summon – Unsummon. We aim on a certain Blue Pixi in range and press Taming.
Now 2nd RNG hits, according to the pets Tier rarity lvl telling the % chance of taming it.
Lets say you fail 4 times, means you broke 4 blue pixi cards and they are gone. 5th try you successed GZ.
You go inventory, drag Pet into your 1 of 3 pets slots, mark it once with left mouse, and press new ability Summon, after animation you have your fresh blue pixi on your side.
But wait. Its Evolution 1 from 3. Baby> Adult > Pro kinda.
So you need to lvl it up.
While doing so you gain abilities. Note, you get tokkens to spend on them, but not enough to max all (sounds familar right 😉 ).
At lvl 50 you might be able to Evo2 it at a NPC at town buut you can also Overbreed it. Overbreeding means you wait 10 more lvls to gain each lvl extra tokken points and stats. DO it. After that & going into Evo2, your Blue pixi is now, +10 lvl 60 😉 A pet with max evolution overbreedings will be +25, sounds again familar.
Now we come to Gears. Thats right, all pets wear Char Armor Gears & weapons, bonuses to those, if according to their passive class trait (yes pets have classes Tank/Fighter/Ranged/DD/Magic(ian)…) items are placed in slots. But can wear any of them if you want to ignore the passive bonuses.
Staging, long read to come to the point.
You can not only overbreed and gear pets but… stack same pets with each others lol
1 Blue Pixi (BP) + 1 BP = Stage1 BP
Failrate, you lose pet card you put in as last one. 1st stays as orginal.
For a Stage2 BP, you will need two stage1 BPs, if you fail, one stage1 BP is gone. All until Stage5.
Staging increases hard stats. But also adds a new Ability and visual changes so everyone sees aaah a stageX petX
With every staging lvl you gain you gain new gear slots & special soul relic stones slots so you further spike up your pets power lvl.
This is very fast said, how Rappelz pets work and how their 'honing' is done.
Every pet gets a unity. A specific unique unity, according to the pet & class/job of it.
Unity, is a Toggle ability on the pet. Once activated, it shares a bound between owner and pet, adding both of them the bonus stats.
A "BPs" unity is MPregen & Int.
• So most likly best for Mages and spam'able char kits, but it still be usefull on non of this chars bc… healing 😉 Choices & combos are up to you.
All char classes can summon 1 pet at the same time perma to their side until they die or you resummon them (saving them in some situations).
But Summoners, yes severals, Holy Summoner, DEVA Race hometown name Laksy (you know this townname in LostArk right ;)), Gaia and Asura (Dark Chaos race).
Those 3 different summoners, can perma "dual summon" pets. So 1x Char & 2x Pets. Also at any combo. Like 2x Red Pixis (Fire element fairy) which are pure Magic DDs, so you on your Summoner can go full range build, nuking all from afar etc etc.
You can equip, pet cards in your inventory into slots on your "belt" which provide stats. Same as Boss cards. (Card system sounds familar ;))
• Ofc all field mobs are tame'able and unique in abilities they provide.
Rough goung trough Rappelz pets, and what we can expect to get in LostArk as well 😉

why did he even push to 1415? there isnt even any content that requires you to be that high currently. Gonna be funny when it becomes easier in a month or two when South Vern and Valtan comes out. On top of the weeks I already have to gather materials and level up slowly before those content releases as a f2p. He low key probably only pushed to 1415 so he can avoid mechanics imo.
