  1. I dated Kyle for a brief period of time. I never experienced violence, but he certainly had no respect for women, his loved ones or himself. Sad this had to end in his death, but he would have never helped himself. He was a lost cause.
Hope this woman takes the necessary steps to heal.

  2. If I told my husband that he broke her jaw, he would ask me what she did to him. Most men have zero respect for women, zero compassion and zero accountability for their own actions. It disgusts me.

  3. If a man puts his hands on you he doesn’t love you. If he continually does it he will most likely kill you one day. Violence doesn’t just stop one day it escalates. Please get away if you can before it’s too late!

  4. Do I have this right???
The guy breaks Ashley’s jaw, not once BUT TWICE, hurts her baby daughter on more than one occasion AND SHE STILL GOES BACK AND LIVES WITH THIS VIOLENT MONSTER! Ashley’s daughter needs to be removed from her custody. She’s definitely an unfit mother. Fine, you’re too stupid to care about your own safety, but putting your own baby in obvious harms way is unforgivable and just plain ignorant.

  5. Every single expert, no matter the topic, will find what they’re looking for, will see what they expect to see.

A DV expert can look at a bowl of oatmeal and find sure signs of domestic violence. Just as a body language expert will find guilty twitches in everyone they monitor.

It’s how the human brain works, focus on it, “believe” you can spot it, “know” that it’s there… no matter what “it” is, you’ll see it (whether it’s really there or not is an entirely different question).

Edit: making them fairly useless overall.

  6. The “new” prosecutor who brought charges against her needs to be held accountable for such egregious actions. The state needs to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

  7. Men should keep their hands in their pockets when it comes to using women as punching bags , if you love a woman there is no reason to harm them, and there is no excuse for hitting them , of course a woman is going to fight back its either that or loose your life, something more needs to be done to protect women.

  8. They “shared” a cell phone?! Come on… that’s a huge sign of control and she – and her kids, probably went through so much more than what’s being brought up! 100% DV & self defense! This case makes me sick 💔🫶🏻

  9. Before he broke her jaw, he fractured her eye socket. This poor woman!
I hope that other women/men who may be living in a domestic violence relationshiip who may be seeing all of this, finds the strength to escape their relationship, how ever that may be so it doesn't end as horrbily as this one.
