The DA that brought charges against this woman, that was a victim of violence is an incompetent, heartless person.
this made me bawl my eyes out. The weeks leading up to my final decision to put my life and my families life at risk by escaping a violent relationship, I thought many times that either I was going to have to kill myself before he did or kill him before he killed me. I was one of the lucky few, who, at least to this point, has successfully escaped without being killed. I am still TERRIFIED of him and I now conceal carry.

They never should have brought this case to trial. The woman acted in self defense and defense of her daughter. She was being abused by him at the time. The DA's office only abused her further. They added fuel to the fire, making it more difficult for this victim to heal. Good common sense, Judge! 👍

thank goodness ❤ this restores my faith in justice system & its nice to see that there's still some judges left that put the truth before ones political ambitions….bc this man was a violent person & this new DA imo was simply trying to make a name for himself regardless of what the evidence showed & imo actually should be made to pay for every single persons time & services he wasted for no reason…hope she can finally heal & start to move past all this bc as a dv survivor myself can tell ya its not an easy thing to go thru or deal with &shes just been retraumatized for no reason😢
