Could it be the 5 mechanised assaults (ranging in size from platoon to brigade) that took place on 30th/31st July in Donetsk oblast which were all stopped in their tracks? Russia repeatedly uses these impulse offensives to gain a few metres/a small settlement at immense cost in personnel and materiel to the utter amazement of the Ukrainian forces who cut them down every day.

Worst of time and resources. Best training from which country that has ever fought and won a war. It's just a bunch of thugs milking Ukraine's resources. By the time Ukraine wakes up the country would be gone to the creditors. They must listen to Trump who advised them that they were fighting a war machine which has the history of defeating napoleon and nazi Hitler. None of these countries can stand the heat of Russia for a single day.
