There are basically two moods you can set the party to. You get the option right away to choose and can change it again at two "checkpoints". I actually think its worth doing both styles of the party. While the party will initially be the same, it becomes way different after (in terms of dialogue especially) and there is ALOT of dialogue here. If you thought the citadel dlc was hilarious, then you will love the hilarity of the party as well so I highly recommend choosing both of the paths available to it.

So you know if no one has said you should have Interactions with everyone at lest once you just need to leave and come back to get new messages and make sure you invite who you want to the party before you start it
I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but there is another small way to extend the time in this dlc
If you get all the tokens and go through all the battle options with all the modifiers (at least once) in the Armax Arena, you can find out a small side story associated with this arena and, as a final reward, receive (with the ability to choose) the best set of armor in the game
Regarding seeing behind the quarian masks, there is only one way to get such an, ahem, intimate picture….
(jokes aside, you do get to see an image of Tali's face if you romance her as MaleShep. It's also one of, if not the best romances so very much recommend trying it in some future playthrough.)
This game is so replayable and that's why I have played this game so many times. You should look forward to going back and playing again as a male Shepard and a different class. Maybe playing at higher difficulty and using different guns.
Mass effect was so hard to let go after the game ended back then all the playthroughs from ME1 through ME3 all the hours put in everything coming to an end it was tough but what an amazing ride it was. Great playthrough can't wait for the party!

Javik is my favorite companion in ME3 because he is pretty much what Shepard will become if she fails is frozen for 50000 years only to wake in another Reaper War, and I also like him because he sticks to his beliefs and will not change them, and from now on pay very close attention to Javik's dialog.
It's totally understandable that you're dragging it on and don't want it to end! I'm grateful you're doing it this way so we get more episodes before it's over.
Such lovely interactions with the crew in this one! There's at least one more invitation message you'll get that I can think of, but I'm sure it would appear once you go out to do stuff at the Silversun Strip and back into the apartment.

Thane’s romance… I’ve done it once. It has a terrible beginning in 2, but.. it is incredibly warm and heartfelt. Loving someone even though you know it’s the final chapter of their story is never easy. But the events in 3–the death to space ninja wank-doodle, saying goodbye.. the memorial and especially the secret 4th journal entry, and the event before returning to the Normandy… it is some of the best writing I have ever seen.
Some characters have more than one interaction in the Citadel DLC. Make sure to visit the apartment and going out to the Silversun strips until nothing comes out.
Ashley might not be the best character but at least she has a personality, Kaidan is more likable but as a person he is just empty, it’s simple as that.
If you decide to do all the Armax Arena you get missions on the terminal for various mission types. One can get you a special suit of armour.
Can I say that I did all the pull ups, and I was rather….mad that I didn't get an achievement for it, so don't feel bad about that 🙂
Its a shame the legendary edition doesn't have the multiplayer. While initially it was seen as a cynical cash grab, it was genuinely fun, however I also had a few mates to squad up with which helped. It started with the basic classes and races like Humans, Asari, etc, but it later added the Collectors as an opposing race, and also had player characters like Volus.
Next time you play will be so different, the data you deleted WAS the right choice FOR YOU, you just accept that your choices have consequences, unfortunately for Javik he had but one job & you made him relive the past which now has its own consequences.
Miranda would have died of her injuries if you didn't warn her of the bastard Kei Leng & they made his character soooo annoying, have no respect for whatsoever & absolutely hate with a vengeance, it's so satisfying fighting him finally when he's got nowhere to run.
Go back to the arcade claw machine & get your plushie for the apartment, what else do you have to spend your money on lol.
Also, don't be afraid to give the bottom sarcastic answers to your crew, it's all about having fun.
Imo Kaiden is the better crewmate.
He's a bit boring & also a bit whiny at first, but he's ok & better than Ash.
I usually date Tali, so the video night with 2 aliens romantically involved, doing the Romeo Juliet thing on the balcony, is quite apt & I've gotten to see her face.
You'll love the party whichever choices you make.
Party on, then it's back to war, heartstrings, joy, sorrow & consequences.
Make sure you check all the consoles when you finally go after TIM, there's a bit more for you to learn.
I love how people wait for the last possible moment before doing the full shore leave DLC and in terms of priority missions it's Sanctuary and almost the last thing Miranda says to you is "I put a tracker on Kai Leng if you ACT FAST you'll track him right to the illusive man." So of course now is the perfect time to chill at Anderson's old hang out. 😆
I can't with Ashley. At least kaiden is semi datable.
The achievement is the pullups we did along the way. LOL 😂
The encounter with Ashley in the bar with the "My friend doesn't like Alliance types" is a reference to Star Wars Episode 4, where basically the same happens. Completely forgot it was even there😂
How … relieved and … lightened Miranda sounds after dispatching her DNA donor … it's really touching.
Oriana still shoudn't have an Australian accent, though; that's not how accents work (unless Miranda chose adoptive parents for her who were Australian).
Someone probably already said it, but the other warning sign on the normandy's fridge was a Turian. Human food would make a Turian sick, and vice versa. Something to do with their respective amino acids. That's also why Tali was drinking Turian booze instead of the human stuff.
Edit: Regarding the species that Javik mentioned. The ones who sacrificed their young in an attempt to placate the Reapers. I'm just guessing, but their reasoning may have been something like… The purpose of the Reapers is to wipe out every organic species, right? So maybe they hoped that if they killed all of their young, ensuring that their species would die within one generation, the Reapers might simply leave them alone and let nature take its course.
I'm sorry but I'm a bit diappointed to hear you change your stance on Maelins data (and unclear if also the genophage). I wholeheartedly agreed with your initial stance on the genophage, and I just don't think it's right to allow others' opinions to convince you to sway your stance on such a pressing topic. I think it's important to stand behind your decisions. I guess perhaps I'm not entirely sure what caused you to change your mind about the data, but it just seems a bit disappointing to me to think that what may or may not have seemed like popular opinion has been allowed to alter your position.
Just so you're aware Kali, Tali and Miranda are not the only ones dealing with family issues. Ashley's grandfather put a black mark on her family – first human to surrender to aliens. Garrus admires Spectres, his dad hates them – no one should be above the law. Wrex killed his own father. Liara's "father" left and had to kill her own mother. Jacob's father … actually let's not talk about him lol. Grunt doesn't care much for his creator, Okeer. James mentioned his father being out there, "somewhere". Samara had to hunt her own daughter and became distant with her other kids.

Hi Kali, the reason a lot of people said to wait until now to do the Citadel DLC is due to Horizon. Characters only become available for the party as well as private meetups during the DLC once you have finished their story arc, with Miranda being the last one with her story arc finishing on Horizon.
Hey Kali, the reason Tali took the Horizon mission so hard is because, like Miranda, Tali had a lot of issues with her father. Tali basically moulded herself to be as her father wished, while Miranda stood against her father at every step. I guess Tali is just pondering what her life would have been like if she had taken a stand against her father. Maybe he would have still been alive.
Hi Kali, I think that other sign on the fridge is a Turian. You maybe know (or don't) that Turians and Quarians cannot eat most food due to them having a different amino acid structure in their base proteins. Thus it's a warning that the food in this fridge is not for Turians and Quarians to eat (and likewise to keep Turian and Quarian food out of this fridge so as to avoid poisoning others who can't eat their food).
Great video, as ever. I think Tali's drunken speech makes more sense if Miranda has died (as she did in many male Shep playthroughs). I'm guessing they didn't change it for her surviving because the voice actress did such a great hilarious job.

Hi Kali, in the original Mass Effect 3 you did get an achievement for beating James's high score on the pull ups, but this achievement is not in Legendary Edition.
In all my playthroughs I never read that one about Kal'Reegar. RIP to him and his squadmated buddis. o7

Is a 182 pull-ups physically impossible 😵?
The Elcor extraction becomes available after Thessia but its very easy to miss as the prompt only pops up if you get close but in addition to that the Ambassadors shirt is the same color as the semi-circle interact icon. You passed it a few times which resulted in me leaving a comment in the last video saying you might've missed that one.
The Thane memorial and last messages are even more painful if you romanced him.

I said it last time. But you didn't see it . Anyways Legion is not DEAD. He went to disseminate the reaper code to his people, a hero to them. It's ok to miss him. But every time you say "his death is so sad" I yell out "HE IS NOT DEAD!" anyways. Enjoy your playthrough.

For a character as often underappreciated and overlooked (myself included), that Miranda scene was really sweet and well done.
Ashley may be contraversial or not consistent, but her character is more interresting than Keiden's for sure. I only saved him once and I won't do it again. When u build a romantic relationship with her, she matches Shepard quite well.
So many good moments here and regarding ashley, i never liked her either and love Kaidan. He is the opposite of loud and drunk when it comes to Ashley. I really enjoy him but yeah, he has a reputations of being boring while others like myself and those that romanced him say that he is the only one that is already secure in himself and does not need "rescuing" by shepard. Shepard is like a guide, mentor and sometimes a twisted parent figure to most companions but Kaidan doesn't need that. He makes much more sense as the second human spectre imo. I am biased though 😛 i love the actor who voices him and also same voice actor for Carth in kotor game and was one of my favorites (he had a bad rep in that one as well, people think he is to whiny). If you havent played that i reccomend as well. Anyways… tldr: go Kaidan next playthrough! 😂
