Artifact hunting TN – The untouched field. Artifacts laying everywhere!

What a day! 20 steps into this field and i knew it was gonna be one heck of a day! A field on a hilltop that to my knowledge has never been hunted. From the looks of it, it sure seemed that way. There were flakes and broken pieces laying all over. As i would make a pass from one side of the field to the other, it was unusual not to find at least a couple broken pieces. I got spoiled really quick and found myself wondering what was going on if i made a pass without finding anything! Overall i wound up finding over 80 pieces broken and whole, mostly broke due to years of farming, all in this crazy one day hunt. A day i’ll never forget. Not all pieces are featured in this video, but a number of the highlights and oddball pieces are shared here. I hope you enjoy! Please like, subscribe, and comment with any input!

  1. It would be nice to see the complete days finds clean and gathered. With such a large random sampling it would be fun to get percentages of different things. Type, size, material, workmanship, use, wear etc.

  2. Crazy!! You already have the best places on the river to hunt now you have the best fields in America to hunt!!! Again you need to play the power ball bro!!!! Awesome saves!!!! How many trips did you have to make to the truck with all that rock?? lol. The graver was my favorite.. Seriously you should make a golf ball washer of sorts if you go back just for efficiency purposes so cleaning those rocks up doesn’t slow you down.. That would be pretty slick actually..
