Dumb plot for many reasons. First, why destroy the planet because the aliens turn hostile? We could fight back and win. Second, why leave it up to an isolated Indvidual to make the call that Earth must be destroyed? Third, why have only one guy at the site? What if he becomes ill and dies? What if he goes nuts and decides to let the Earth die for no valid reason?
More proof that the 90s outer limits is up there with the 60s twilight zone.
I would have been the first one to tell everyone not to do anything, let's see what happens.
90s outer limits was great

I don't think I would like this.
Dumb premise. I only stuck with it to see if it was all a psychological experiment.
