As the massive space hulks known as the Arks of Omen spread the flames of Abaddon’s war across the galaxy, a powerful agent of the Inquisition ignites an ancient archeotech beacon – praying that its light might drive back the darkness. Yet that which burns bright may be seen from afar. Deep in the void, the hateful gaze of Angron, Daemon Primarch of the World Eaters, is drawn towards the light. Driven by his fury, the Red Angel vows to drown the beacon in blood.

So begins the cataclysmic war for the Malak System. On one side, Angron and his World Eaters, leading a truly colossal invading host of Khorne worshippers fit to dwarf even the malevolent Ark of Omen lumbering in their midst. On the other, the greater part of Indomitus Crusade Fleet Quartus, a titanic assemblage of Imperial might fit to conquer entire sectors of space and liberate vast swathes of territory.

  1. So you are telling me Angron turned up to a plant I've never heard of, protected by an inquisitor I've never heard of, and also had help from an admiral I've never heard of. To protect a MacGuffin I've never heard of and then Angron killed everything and destroy the MacGuffin. Who would have thought? Man that book cost £30

  2. GW writing has become so pathetic lately, the sheer amount of plot armor these characters have – there are no consequences for anything anymore. Angron can torpedo himself through ships now, thats a thing apparently … crash through the orbit without any damage … regenerate half his body. There are no stakes or consequences anymore because its blatantly obvious there is no threat to the lives of any of the main characters, it’s shitty writing. Dont know why these 2 are geeking out over this 🙁…

  3. Wonder if the Imperium will ever gett a big W, Guiliman´s return and the Primaris feels like a stop gap rather than a W, not much if anything significant has been regained since then. That Giant ass Rift after Cadia was huge Chaos W too and, yeah… so far Chaos is getting alot of Victory love on a galactic Scale and the Imperium nothing but more canon fodder that fuels Chaos even more.

  4. This might be the most ridiculous lore I’ve ever heard.

Holy Emperor I’ve loved every single bit of it. I might even start a World Eaters army with Big Angry Angron at the centre of it.

  5. The AbbaDon: Ayo, uncle Angtony. We got a couple palookas holdin' on to piece of our pie. I got you a new gun and a new ride, go take care of them for us if you will.

Uncle Angtony: Ah, nipote, yeah, I could go for busting a couple kneecaps. I haven't heard a grown man cry in a dog's age.
