I don't care how great it looks; if they're still using Nitrado servers it'll be trash. Also, Studio Wildcard is one of the most anti consumer studios out there. Shady doesn't even begin to describe them. The best thing that could happen is for the studio to be purchased and purged.

My concern is that Ark already ran terribly. ASE already bottlenecks my 3080Ti at 4K. What will ASA do, even with DLSS…

I'm remaining hopeful at this point. Knowing the capabilities of UE5 and the tech under it's hood, this could be glorious. I have a lot of that hope mainly due to them admitting to using Nanite. That alone is HUGE. I'll be honest, till all the info came out recently about Snail and their shady dealings, I had given up a lot of hope on WC, but having spent time as a developer and reading that stuff, it's clear the issue has been Snail, not WC, though WC has made some questionable and let's just say it, BAD, decisions in the past, they've always seemed to actually GAF about their community. On the topic of certifications, I'm sure things have changed, but, when I was last working as a designer, the cert process was typically around 5 – 7 business days or less. There's also 2 ways they can submit the game for cert in this case. They could submit as a full game which takes the longest and has the most stringent requirements to pass cert. They could also certify it as Paid DLC. While this has many of the same requirements of full game, DLC cert is less stringent and takes far less time (we submitted some DLC and it was certified 14 hours later). Regardless, I had turned my back on Ark and WC due to all the BS earlier in the year, but after recent events, yeah, gonna buy it and play it. Not to mention it'll nice to see The Island NOT being covered in a tons of ginormous bases for RMT Breeders, at least for a little while.

We all hope it will look like this but many forget very fast how many time ark was not what it promised in trailers. And personaly it buggs me very much how everybody seems to forget snailgames is still involved! Personally I'd rather sacrifice graphics for smooth running, faster rendering and most importantly no random crashes especially with PvP and there's nothing you can do about it

The raptor is gorgeous however what I'm most concerned about character customization. There is no reason with the engine they're using that we can't look like normal people and not some military buff, can't stress how many games I've played where character creation is insanely wonderful and then I play ark and sadness ensues. I think it would be nice to not be bald and I get to pick my hair, decide to look 20 or 50 not forced to look a specific way like everyone else's character. Other than that I don't run my game on a potato so poor optimization is expected because wildcard doesn't know what that word means lol.
