The arguments that nuclear power is too expensive and would take too long to install are “steadily being debunked”, says Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Ontario is the most important province of Canada, with about 15 million people, and its main city Toronto is about the same size as Sydney or Melbourne,” Ms Credlin said.
“A key difference though, between Ontario and, say, NSW or Victoria, is that Ontario has much cheaper power – it’s reliable and abundant, and it gets most of it, about 60 per cent, from nuclear energy.
She said as the Ontario Energy Minister Todd Smith told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood on Sunday, “nuclear is the way to go”.
“I’m sure the last thing the Ontario minister wants is to take sides in a political debate here in Australia – but what he said means that Labor’s arguments against nuclear energy just do not stack up.”

Nuclear is running in Japan 24/7 and they have no power outages also with many other countries Nuclear is becoming the best option. Problem is the stupid labor government don't want to give up the supply chain of uranium to other countries cause they know they can rip off other countries that need it but they don't want to sacrifice the economy by using our own resources cause we wont make as much money off of it. Plus the small nuclear reactor just south of sydney in Lucas Heights is doing wonders for the medical industry its so efficient and it barely costs anything to run compared to these self driven wind turbines.
Also on electric vehicles, Its the biggest lie anyone has said it doesn't produce any emissions digging up the lithium and then dumping it harms the environment worse plus I've heard through some research companies that the trees we have are more than capable of offsetting that carbon emission back to oxygen. Absolute bullshit and the funniest part is everyone that i know that claims to be a climate activist drives their diesel utes and petrol suv's and says yeah this tax on petrol and diesel makes sense cause otherwise we'd be saying fuck the environment they're so ignorant. Hilarious……. Tasmania is a Liberal state and is easily able to run on 100% renewable electricity.
Admittedly the small population and the excellent terrain well suited to the Hydro power generation they use has helped them attain 100% renewable electricity.
Some people are obsessed with Nuclear power because it is part of their political ideology and is a relatively easy reliable way to generate power but obviously not the only way with Nuclear waste always rearing it's ugly head.

Australia is never going to have nuclear. The Liberals support nuclear because it will take decades to introduce and the coal and gas industry can continue providing money and big jobs to the Liberal Party.
Drive down the Hume freeway in Victoria and you see acres of ugly solar panels which will need to be replaced in 25 years. Nuclear is the only answer but try telling that to a goose like Bowen.
