   for those curious, if you say yes, he'll instead be like "you can't hide the truth from me" and so he assumes anyways that you plan to subjugate estark and finish off your father.

   (edit stuff) lol general chayne is the wake up call that if you not been doing synthesis correctly, you gonna get walled.

   Note: He was originally going to join the party in the NES Dragon Quest 4. Seeing as how he was cast as the main villain… I'm not sure what they were going to pull off or if he became the final boss because they had to nix that plan.

9. Yeah, the story is really awkwardly told in this game. It's really confusing if you don't already know what happens in dq4. The protagonist shouldn't have been silent, and they shouldn't have given you meaningless choices that don't affect anything.

    If you choose to go down the villain road you will see cutseane when rose is killed if you don't make the right choice which honestly was like getting hit in head, and had me regretting my choices in the game, you " could get a chance at life" which i needed lol. This game is so good

11. I mean, it was kinda obvious, since you're playing as the main villain of Dragon Quest 4, but it's really dark when you think about it. The Zenethian Dragon even asks you if "You're sure you wish to take this path knowing you will LOSE." In the end, he's absolutely right: you WILL lose in DQ4, and all you are basically doing is ruining lives for all non-humans and forcing them to a future where they will have to kiss humanity's @$$ for the rest of their existence.

12. Hey Ed just a suggestion but, fuse off the platypunk and try to get up to a great Sabrecat, it helps a lot, and you should of got the lumbering lizard from an ep or 2 ago, it’s a good tank/support, keep Harmour dump everyone else

13. The only fight I ever wiped on was the one against Chayne. It feels like the game is telling you you need to start synthesizing regularly from now on. A dedicated healer and at least one monster with high attack is pretty much mandatory starting now. A Healslime and something like the Hunter Mech line or continuing down the Slime Knight line are good investments.
