  1. If you didn’t live through the 90’s and z00’s as a Georgia fan while Spurrier and Meyer were beating Georgia’s brains in for fun, you have no clue how much hatred there is . Just go listen to what Erk Russell thought of Flori-duh.

  2. As a Clemson fan growing up in South Carolina, Ohio State v Michigan is the best CFB rivalry on a nationwide level. Iron Bowl is somewhat of a close second, although I personally prefer watching LSU-Bama more than Auburn-Bama.

  3. Being an A&M graduate, I'm a bit biased, but the Texas vs Texas A&M rivalry was always THE rivalry game in Texas every year. When I was growing up (well before I went to A&M and got brainwashed) it was THE Thanksgiving Day college game every year. Elementary kids in the school cafeteria would always be talking about the game from both sides. Our entire Fight Song is about how badly we want to beat Texas. Granted, most years Texas was in the national championship conversation and A&M was trying to be the upsetting underdog. I remember being in the A&M band playing the game in Austin my sophomore year, we got absolutely killed, like 51-3. The t.u. fans were all over us with the smack talk. We were basically the last group the leave the stadium for security reasons, but there was a group of Longhorn fans gathered around the tunnel to applaud us as we left – super classy. It was always a vicious rivalry, but there was respect and class there as well.
