Are Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders and Colorado out of the running for five-star OT Jordan Seaton?

On today’s DNVR Buffs Podcast, Jake and Andre discuss the latest post from 2024 five-star OT Jordan Seaton and if CU is still in the conversation to earn his commitment. 1. He's trying to increase his money..CU needs an O'line coach and several lineman the money spent on 1 5star could possibly bring in a few lineman..I saw interesting stat..5star O'lineman don't turn out to be NFL stars like 5star D'lineman do..

  2. What’s going on?? He’s a kid who doesn’t know what he wants to do. I don’t think he should commit in the coming days in my opinion. He should really think about what he wants to do first, and what makes him comfortable because it’s clear he doesn’t know.

  3. CU is out of the running for a winning season next year. Deion has no loyalty whatsoever, look at his relationships with any woman and how starting players are bailing. After a year of following closely I've switched sides, Deion loves Deion and his family, everything else is collateral damage and just a way to buy more Gestapo loving Coco Chanel shoes and pretend Jesus gave you the means and desire to buy them. Jr. is a poser, Darius was given a job he doesn't deserve and Neeley is the only one who works and is worth watching. Prove me wrong.

  4. It takes bread and CU isn’t putting out that bread like these other schools are. And CP has mentioned several times, that when recruits ask about bread, that those type of recruits doesn’t fit the program. Recruits are trying to go where the is bread at and CU isn’t it.

  5. What O-Line coach can Seaton depend upon to develop him at CU? With Travis and Cormani they have Deion, but Seaton has who? I just think there are too many question marks in the program for Seaton to commit to a CU.

  6. Gotta be honest the recruiters and coaches leaving, as well as Hagan, gives me worry now. I think it was a major mistake demoting Lewis last season and removing Brewster from his position in the same vein.

  7. Schools are going to drop big bags for the top end talent in the portal. Trying to get your OL from the portal is going to be pricey if you are getting the players top teams want. Pretty interesting dynamic. How will the Buffs fanbase feel in Jan if you don’t get those top players?

  8. How can any recruit watch CP at the Cowboys game walking around with Jerry Jones and not want to come to CU just based on the NFL connects Prime has alone. I guarantee you No college Coach has more NFL connects than CP. Recruits need to be smart and think about their future not just right now. Gold Jacket folks, it takes a different type of person to achieve that level of success, that tells me everything I need to know about the trajectory of CU!!

  9. Only CU players Roach KFC Sanders will help to NFL are numbers 2, 12 and 21. No one else matters. If you don’t see this, you are BLIND! Everything he is doing at CU is to benefit him and his sons. He is not a humble coach that seeks to develop ALL players on his team.

  10. Seaton could plug aIf he is flexible and , is soft, dosnt fight to the whistle, why grab him? He needs 4 star guys, or 3 star form bigger schools, with better coaching or better conditioning! OSU, ND, Stanford, KU,, Georgia, TN, IU, Baylor, mizzu, Purdue, and the badgers. If you keep going after guys form utep, Memphis, shorter college? Or Vanderbilt, wku and the bearcats? Ask urself this, why did they go there? do they have engines? did they have at least 7 offers? do they have power, violent hands, and nasty burst,? Are they smart, will they fight ill the whistle blows?? Protect ur son!!! protect ur qb!! Lets go!!!

  11. This show would be so much better if you guys would stop sunshine pumping for Prime and just be honest and straightforward with the audience. I'm not sure why the hosts feel the need to be condescending and talk down to the fans when people are justifiably concerned about this program. You can't spin losing Nick Williams who was by far the best recruiter on the staff to a lateral move at Syracuse as no big deal. You can't spin giving lame ass Pat Shurmur the OC job just because Shedeur likes him as no big deal. You can't spin losing blue chip commits from the 24 and 25 classes as no big deal.

Why didn't Prime make the necessary hires for OC, OL, TE, DL before the transfer portal opened? Do you think kids are gonna commit to a program that has no coach at their position? Hopefully, he'll announce the new hires soon but not having them done last week was dropping the ball. At least they have Warren Sapp joining the staff – a guy who has never coached or recruited before. But sure, let's give him a Power 5 job. As for Sean Lewis, look for him to do well at SDSU. He's a damn good offensive mind but Prime didn't let him run his offense here.

I'm rooting for Prime and rooting for the Buffs but this was not a well coached team this past season and now they're losing their best coaches and their best commits while keeping the bad coaches around (RB, LB, DB). Thankfully, the OL coach is gone. There are real concerns here so stop dismissing them and acting like everything is sunshine and roses.

  12. Colorado is like a person who is a 5 that thinks they are a 10. You clowns don’t even have a offensive coordinator or a Offensive line coach. No 5 star offensive lineman is coming to Colorado. I heard Seaton is saying is saying Tennessee is his top school. Tennessee who just put a Offensive Lineman in The First Round of the NFL draft last year. GTFOH Colorado clowns

  13. I am gonna go out on a limb and say Coach Prime is out of the running for anybody worth a damn. Do you hear how he talks about his players to the media? He doesn’t have anyones back but Shedeur and Shilo. Maybe not even Shilo of it came down to himself or Shilo. He literally never took any responsibility for any of HIS FOOTBALLTEAMS shortcomings. Talked shit about of a bunch of 19 year old kids to the media like a DICK

  14. Yhat recruit probably heard how Deion talked about his linemen all season long to the media. Negative conversations like that should be private. Handled in the locker room with the player in question. Not to the media. Deion literally didn’t take any responsibility for his teams lack of success

  15. Lets keep it real bill oboyle was supposed to be the final word on who was acceptable as talent and to be honest his judgement was lacking. The linemen he chose did not have that aggressive attitude that Matt McChesney talks about. And the results showed

  17. While all of these other schools gotta cash out for QBs and DBs and even RBs Colorado doesn't as much. Let them get some NIL money and Coach Prime help find them some endorsements which you know he can they will be gucci
