  1. Amen. I definitely agree with your dad we have been to the arches and love them. If you and your mom and dad ever go to Zion National Park your dad would love it and we would love to see it

  2. In 1952 at 6 years old we would visit Arches in a jeep..no real roads..artefacts and agate littered the washes. My dad and mom's cousin went on horseback and jeep ptospecting for small surface deposits of uranium.
Their largest claim became the Rio Algum Lisbon Valley Uranium mine..17 years 24/7 with 250 employees.
Aways been fascinated by the desert and mining history…

  3. I always enjoy your videos with your parents in them. My favorite series was when you and your dad traveled to your old houses, churches, and schools. When he talks, I love what he says!

  5. My wife and I visited Arches National Park in July, 1984. I can't remember if we paid to get in but there were very few visitors at that time. We drove right in and we felt like we had the whole park to ourselves. There were few other cars in the park. How times have changed.
