The Fortress of Louisbourg is a treasure trove for archaeologists: there are hundreds of artefacts in the ground, and each one can tell us lots of things about what life was like in the 18th century. But there is a problem: the sea-level around Louisbourg is rising, and with each big winter storm, there is a risk that some of the artefacts will be swept out to sea.
