I know you’re way ahead already but just in case you can press k to switch out Shadowheart’s skills, higher level cleric skills are godsends and you can change out whenever you want to unlike other magic classes. Anyways, thanks for today’s upload 🙂
I always pick up pouches with different icons, then throw scrolls, the shovel, quest items, etc. in there. And I send all green/blue/purple armor that I don't currently need back to camp. It helps SO MUCH with the inventory. I know this was recorded ages ago, but maybe it will help someone out there.
Edit: And if the shovel suddenly stops working, just take it out and put it back into the pouch. It's a bug that happens now and then.
The reason why Shadowheart, Wyll, Gale etc can't make long or high jumps is because the jump skill scales with strength. You can increase jump distance via strength, the athlete feat, some items like the Swiresy Boots, potions of glorious vaulting, and most importantly 'Enhance Leap', a level 1 wizard/bard/sorc/druid spell – it's a ritual spell similar to feather fall (does not consume spell slots when cast out of combat) so it's great for exploration.
Yes I’m really enjoying the long videos! This one flew right by. Loved it when John put Lae’zel in the party, then scolded her for not wearing gloves lol
The game is designed around karmic dice, you should keep it on imo. It also applies to enemy attacks. It's very minor, here's no reason to turn it off.
I was kicking n screaming when john miffed the dialogue/ special lot from Bernard 😂 i love john and this playthrough but his playstyle is so different from mine, john kinda rushes through everything and attacks first, where i prefer to explore every nook and cranny, trying to get all the loot n lore. That being said, there’s NOTHING wrong with it being part 20 and still in act 1, take your time!!! We’re all loving it!
It's really satisfying watching you infer & solve puzzles just through in-game clues. Especially as someone who had no patience & who used guides often on my playthrough
I feel like you probably will have figured it out by the time you see this, but in the party screen you can sort everyone's inventory by clicking the button in the far left top corner! And longer videos would be great!
I would LOVE to get some longer videos honestly. This series (and your videos in general) have become my nightly treat when I'm ready to lay down in bed and unwind until I can go to sleep. It's my comfort zone. And frankly I would love to have the extra long content to chill out to.
For the longest time I put off the Arcane Tower because I thought it was another name or euphemism for moonrise tower which I know starts the next act and triggers the point of no return. I was pretty embarrassed when I found out my fears were completely unfounded.
I think that if making longer videos would help you just go for it, the audience that enjoys bg3 playthrough surely won't complain – it's a very long game after all, could easily end up with 130+ hours in a single playthrough, so there wouldn't be anything strange in 2 or even 3 hours long cuts. And it's very cool to follow along at your pace, personally speaking. Thank you for the great content!

Part 20 and still in Act 1 seems very fine tbh. I believe I was at around 40-50 hours before entering Act 2.
